We just moved to the area and found you on yelp. From the moment I called to make an appointment it has been a great experience. My fur baby was treated with so much professionalism and kindness I was so happy about the whole interaction. From the front seat staff to the vet you guys are all amazing. I’m so happy I found you. Thank you for taking care of my stitch!

I've had cats my entire life, as well as many many vet visits. Its never a fun process to lovingly stuff your furry friends into small carriers and bring them to a place you know is only going to make them scared and uncomfortable. Especially when they have claws. My experience has taught me that, for the most part, going to the vet is just one of those things you have to grin and bear. This was not the case at Village Veterinary Hospital. From the initial appointment scheduling phone call, where the veterinary assistant was able to graciously accommodate me with a same day appointment, to the warm "Welcome to the Family" letter I recieved a few days later, my experience here was an appreciated departure from what I've come to expect from vet visits. The staff handled both of my my cats with the upmost respect. I could hear through the door of the patient room that they would refer to my cats by name to eachother in conversation, a subtle but strong indication of the level of care they have for the animals they treat. Dr. Innes was kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He held my feline companions in a delicate but firm way that only a person who truly loves cats does, inspite of the impressive (but not too impressive!) number of scratch scars I clocked on his arms. He gave me straight and honest answers to the questions I had, and prescribed a treatment plan for my kitties' actual issues. The best part was he did not try to upsell me on any needless treatments or medications by fear mongering, something we desperately need more of in all aspects of health care for both animals and people. I am grateful I decided to go here, especially since usually Im pretty bad at finding the good spots. Thank you Village Veterinary Hospital for going the extra being a better kind of clinic. Raven, Bella, and I appreciate you!

This vet is incredibly rude and condescending. Take your business elsewhere.

The sad day came when my family had to put our loving dog to sleep. We were previously long time customers of another corporate local vet. We called multiple vets that were unable to help our dog on short notice. Without hesitation Village Vet made time for my family and my pup, that was in pain. They were genuine and knew how to handle the situation. My girl's last few moments were in comfort because of this vet. My other family will be switching their vet care to here. 6 out of 5 stars.

Dr. Iness was the ONLY veterinarian that would see my puppy Deeks. It appeared that he injured his back or hip while taking a nasty fall. I called and called around and no one would see my pup without hour long waits and hundreds of dollars later. That is,..until I came across The Village. The ladies at the front desk were so helpful and patient and supportive of our situation. I knew my pup was going to "alright " but not knowing was torture for me. Dr Iness agreed to stay after hours just to see my dog. I was very touched and so grateful!! Since they were so pleasing my husband and I decided to switch vets so now Deeks is a patient at The Village!!! "Thanks to you all!"

Extremely unprofessional front staff and overpriced (for example a fecal exam is $150). The vet himself is pretty good and knowledgeable but there is no communication and the front staff is terrible. They did not go over the chart when I brought my puppy in and they didn't confirm what was being done. We called to have our new puppy examined and for a parvo shot on the schedule. The lady on phone confirmed birthdate and parvo shot and asked us to come in. the front staff actually added additional vaccinations to my 1lb puppy that were not wanted and unnecessary. They did not go over my chart or confirm with me what was being done. They didn't say a word and walked over and started administering. Calling it unprofessional is being nice. It's borderline criminal the way they went about it. It's not a serious front staff and your pet is in danger if you don't stop and confirm everything they are going to do. I thought it was maybe a one or two time issue but every time we've gone in the front staff have created a dangerous environment for my pets by either trying to administer vaccines the puppy already has or added extra that we did not need nor ask for. The vet was just doing what was on the chart but he didn't even say what he was doing. When I expressed outrage the front staff could care less. They danced around apologizing. "Oops" was there approach (but I something like this has happened every time I've gone!). No remorse from the staff and it seems this their SOP. These people will put your pet in danger for money. The trust is gone and neither myself nor relatives have ever gone back. Beware.

This vet office is dishonest. Your pet will be in danger if you are not diligent in asking what is being done during your visit. You must also be diligent in your own record keeping as they will change your records after the visit. It's a habit of theirs to not go over our chart and add additional vaccinations we did not want without saying a word about it. Additionally they will change pricing to charge you for their mistakes. In fact because of a horrible mistake on their end they gave our small puppy a vaccine that we did not want to do without warning and then padded the pricing on the fecal exam so they wouldn't lose money for something we did not want done. I thought it was a one time issue but it's not. Again it's a habit for this Vet service to not communicate what they will do, when they will do it, or keep records. Not professional. Not remorseful. Horrible front staff and records which is a hazard to our pets. I've previously dealt with their poor record keeping and communication. They want to do shots they had records on again for my cats. They add whatever they want to exams without remorse. Just unacceptable.

I found Dr. Innes a few years ago when I was very concerned about my little Brandi's diagnosed liver issue. The previous Vet, although a nice person, wanted my little girl to take several antibiotic/meds, which I felt in my heart was not the right thing to do. I checked Dr. Innes' website, visited his office and knew right away he would be the forever Vet for my little Brandi. This is the first vet practice Brandi is not nervous entering the doors. She melts in Dr. Innes' arms like they are best friends. Dr. Innes is amazing! He is professional and really cares about each patient. His staff is friendly, helpful; they listen if you have a concern and address any questions raised. Thank you, Dr. Innes and Staff, for your amazing service!

I recently brought my Husky(Kali) in for surgery on her cruciate ligament with the staff. It was an amazing and positive experience for me and my wonderful animal. The staff is fantastic, thoughtful, professional and made the entire experience easy and manageable throughout the surgery. As a passionate dog and animal lover, I would highly recommend that you bring your animal or pet in for any of their medical needs in the future.I promise that you will not be disappointed and will walk away as a new family member of the Village Veterinary Hospital.

The staff and Dr. Innes are the BEST for over 15 years VVH has been taking care of our family, from puppy litters and checkups to aging life care. Dr. Innes has always been there for us. I am writing this because I recently rescued a new member of the family and no longer live in the immediate area of Village Veterinary Hospital. I considered local vets and quickly realized unless it is an emergency, Dr. Inne's care is well worth driving any distance. Expert knowledge, fairness, and compassion.

Professional & efficient. Answered my concerns. We have 4 dogs, they don't make you feel rushed, answering all of the questions & depending on the situation, the vet does call to check on the dog.

I have worked with the great staff at The Village Vet. I have had many pets in my lifetime and have visited many vets. After finding Dr. Innis, I will only trust my pets with Dr. Innes and his staff. I had an Australian Bulldog who had a life expectancy was 10 to 11 years. Fudge lived nearly 19 years. When he passed Dr. Innis the staff were so beyond gracious. I now have a new Australian Bulldog, Gunner, and he is also cared for by The Village Vet wonderful team. I proudly refer all my friends to this wonderful team. Blessings to all, Trudy

Best vet! My dog is usually terrified and anxious but Dr. Ines is very kind and professional and my dog loves him. I had a big scare with my dog in August 2020 where I had initially taken her to a vet in Redondo Beach who charged me insane amounts of money, conducted unnecessary tests and still wasn't able to address the issue. I came to Dr. Ines for a second opinion and he was able to identify what was wrong and put my dog on a path to excellent health. We recently went to him when my dog hurt her back and he was able to help her with this as well.
