I have had the best experience with this bank, the tellers were super helpful and came out from behind the counter to assist me with my phone app. The manager spent an hour of me setting up my business account and was absolutely amazing.

I went to the ATM yesterday to withdraw money and my card got stuck in the machine so I continuously hit the cancel button this morning so I withdraw for the same amount of money that I was trying to take out yesterday but I never got the money and they still withdrawal it from my account this morning

This is where professionalism combined with great customer services. My banking experiences here are great! The staffs are very helpful, attentive, friendly, they knows their products and they get things done in a fair timely manner. They work together as a team to figure things out and get things done for the customers. Elaine, Tony, Tina, Monica, Christine. You all are doing a great job, keep up the good work! I came to open a an account, Elaine assisted me on it. She carefully explained of my choices and the condition of those choices, not missing out any important details while wrapped things up on time as needed without losing the friendliness of the service she provided. A very warm, sweet Personal Banker who is new at her position but is good at it and willing to learn to improve. Tina, I called in to ask for information on new saving account. She acknowledge it without delays and gave accurate information and also assisted Elaine in completing the process when I came in to open the account. Tony, an experienced Personal Banker who are very attentive and is capable of multi-tasking and have things completed without mixing anything up, supportive of his colleagues. He assisted Elaine thoroughly to completed the process, professionalism is part of his working ethics. A great colleague to have. Monica, I left my debit card in the ATM and called in to check if its there for pickup. Without hesitation she went to have it check for me while I am on the phone, came back and friendly tell me the card is there for pick up. Christine, I called back to say if they can have things all ready for a quick pickup as I can't stay long. She assured me that they will have to verify identify before releasing of the card but it will be quick. And it was an in and out process as I came and Elaine attentively assisted me with the card, balance, and account #. I were in and out in no more than 7 minutes. I started with Elaine, came back to open another account and coincidently it was also Elaine, left my debit card in the ATM, came back to pick it up and it was also Elaine that wrapped me up and set me done attentively. I guess I were meant to be banking with Elaine and Bank Of The West! Thank you everyone for the pleasant banking experiences!

Great place with great employees and great customer service. Ms. Elaine, Mr. David, and Mr. Diep did a great job helping me with what I needed. They made it simple, clear, and concise. Thank you so much for everything guys!

This bank is probably the worst bank you can bank with. They blatantly lie to you at the Westminster branch. They reverse fees for you after intense haggling then find ways to reimpose the same fees months back so you don't notice until it is too late. How sneaky of them because they think you are too stupid to notice. The worst part isn't just the apathy nor the blatant lies but that they could care less if you bank there. I feel like I am in in a 3rd world country and I can say that as I am part asian myself. It's like they run the bank as if they're still in Vietnam or China. Sorry to say this but no customer service nor respect here. RUN!! get out while you can. I can't stand bank of America but compared to bank of the west, Bof A looks like a Godsend. They give Asians a bad reputation.

Needed to do a cash advance from my credit union to buy a used car. They do not have branches in So. Cal. Went to my bank BOW to get $4,500. Was told at the Stanton branch they did not have that much cash at the moment but would call another branch for me. They called the Westminister branch who said they have that much in $50 bills. Okay, I go there and the service person Christine runs the credit union Mastercard and then comes back to say, "I cannot give you the money". I ask why, and she says because my driver's license has "Jr" and my credit union card does not. I show and tell her that ALL of my credit cards and social security card does not have "Jr" on them. I never had this problem before cashing checks showing my nickname, mispellings of my last name, etc. She said, "I will not process this" and walked away. I call my credit union to find out where else can I go for the cash advance. They tell me that a pre-authorization was done by BOW and now my account is frozen by $4,500. I go back to the Westminister branch, ask to speak with the manager. He would not speak with me and sent a guy instead. I demanded they remove the pre-auth. They did and said I would have to wait a day or two for it to be off my credit union account. I told him that will not work as I needed the cash today. I called my credit union again and they removed the pre-auth. Now not happy, I have filed a complaint with BOW corporate. I go to a Bank of America branch who in 2 minutes processed my credit union card, had me enter my PIN, and gave me the cash. I do not have a B of A account. An hour later, the BOW regional manager called to apologize and I told him the local branch manager should be apologizing to me, an 18 year account holder.

This bank does not honor their commitments. The banker are simply dirty and unprofessional! He tricked me to set up accounts and deposit a high amount of funds for all sorts of BS incentive bonus and rates. When the deadline passed, I ask them what's going on and they BS me about how he's feel fight hard for me and I should get it soon. Bottom line is that might not be the bank but the workers who works there for the last 3+ years to now. Someone should do something retroactively and going forward.
