Churches And Places Of Worship
“One of the best churches in the area.
Disclaimer: Our family doesn’t attend Bethany, but we were introduced to their 2025 VBS. We have a home church due to language barriers within our family.
I had heard such wonderful things about this church that I decided to make the 25-minute drive to take my 5-year-old son to Bethany's VBS. My son is full of life, and honestly, most of my prayers are about him. He’s a very loving child, but he can also be quite a handful. I was nervous about sending him to VBS because of his behavior.
From the moment we arrived, Pastor Joe welcomed us with such warmth. He seemed to understand exactly what I was going through as a parent and took the time to truly listen. He even offered thoughtful advice throughout the week. On the last day, he gifted me a book by Paul Tripp. I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s already opened my eyes to the kind of parent God is calling me to be—not just the kind I think I should be.
Every single staff member we met was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. We felt so supported and seen throughout the entire week.
If you have young children and are looking for a warm, loving church with a supportive Christian community, look no further. Bethany truly has a heart for families.”
“The California Zoroastrian Center in Orange County is a beautifully maintained place of worship and community gathering. It serves as both a spiritual home for Zoroastrians and a cultural center that promotes the traditions, history, and values of one of the world’s oldest religions. The architecture is elegant yet simple, and the atmosphere inside is peaceful and uplifting. Beyond religious services, the center hosts cultural events, educational programs, and community celebrations that warmly welcome both members and visitors.
✨ Travel Tips:
• ? Check the event schedule, special gatherings, festivals, and Nowruz (Persian New Year) celebrations are especially vibrant and worth attending.
• ? Ample parking is available, making it convenient to visit.
• ? Be respectful with photos; it’s best to ask permission, especially during services.
• ? Visitors are welcomed kindly, if you’re new, don’t hesitate to ask questions about the faith and traditions.
• ???? Great place for families and students to learn about Zoroastrianism’s history and teachings.
A serene, inspiring, and community-focused center that beautifully preserves and shares Zoroastrian heritage.”
