The chicken was burnt. If you have ever seen National Lampoons "A Christmas Vacation" and when the turkey was finally out of the oven, how it just was nothing inside, that is how this chicken looked and tasted.

My experience at this location was great. The manager took my order and was very polite. It was very fast, and the food tasted really good. It was just how I ordered my tostada, no beans, no pico, and no sour cream. There was no mistakes and there was more than enough chicken. I asked an employee for avocado sauce, he gave me 2 and when I asked for more he did not complain or give me a hard time, he asked me how much more did I want, and he gave them to me without hesitating.

Actually the food is delicious. But recently I came by and ordered 2 double chicken tostadas. What I got was a taco shell full of lettuce and each salad had about the equivalent of 3 pieces of chicken in them. Hardly and rice was in it. About 5 beans were seen in each of the 2 salads. I was sadly disappointed. Previously I had ordered this dish and got plenty of chicken since its name is "Double chicken Tostada". Clearly I got cheated at $13 per tostada I got robbed.Parking: Parking is ok but they have very little of it..

I truly received The Ultimate Royal Treatment in this El Pollo Loco location on Goldenwest Ave/Westminster Ave from the minute I entered the restaurant till I left, the overall look of the store presented sharp and crisp clean and deliciously appetizing, not to mention the positive full of warmth, teamwork, joy of strive and dedication and natural freewill helpfulness setting joyous familial and friendly work space and attentive informed servicemenshiand amongst themselves all, so welcoming yet heartbreaking bc these types of star employees deserve highly elite wages, rewards, exceptional recognition and repaid and RE compensated in GOLD and DIAMOND scale with the WOW and symbolic influential role model xample of a business and record setting standard and ambition for the entire workforce to be happy, forward, healthy, and adding qualititive measures and improving public overall life. Amongst all the bunch of Goodies employees: one employee solidly shined the most with her cute happy face and DieHeart cashier brought up my moral and mood that wiped all of my stresses, worries, round trip to heavens bc of her well informed options and instant problem solving skills was quite heart touching and outstanding and out of charts that I had to write this long and detailed review which fulfilled my hunger and fed my soul’s hunger and changed and transformed my life to so much better and inclined it so significantly towards contentment and appreciation of living in this beautiful Mother Nature along with such kind and caring individuals like Cashier Liliana with her glorified and life changing and hardworking personality that I wish worlds and worlds of success, prosperity, health, and happiness ,for Liliana herself and her family and her beautiful humble caring parents for offering and equippinng our societies such brite, transparent, proud, and polite individuals who makes life like The Real Paradise like how it is deemed and supposed to be.Thank you El Pollp Loco,Thanks to your Jolly cheerful employees,And special special thanks to happy, young, kind, and caring cashier Liliana!??I will be in the anticipation of expansive articles, encouraging, rewarding, recognizing, and praising these awsome group of employees and truly reward and compensate them massively bc they deserve it and so obviously they have earned and accomplished his for themselves, and specially specially baby-like innocent, full of life’s hopes smiley face of The Noble Liliana.Great employees are the real bread and butter of any long term successful well founded and well structured business operations, please do not their rewards and fat deep compensation on the back burner in the storage or supplies room, plus celebrate this type of success and accomplishment is the unmatched natural key to perfect marketing and advertising method, plus fair is fair. El Pollo Loco's nutrition info says that one chicken breast should be 4.3 oz. If they do not like you, they will cut corners and they will give you a small piece. But if they like you, they will take care of YOU. This location is not a friendly location. If you are looking for El Pollo Loco, I don't recommend this location, no GOOD, period. It seems like they are always upset with something.I was there on 2/04/2024, 6 22 pm, Sunday. I talked to the maneger, I told him about my issue. He did not care too much. This location needs a mature maneger not just a high school adult.

I asked the cashier to scan a code on my phone for a discounted burrito. He looked at my phone and scanned it. I ordered about $45 worth of food, paid for it with my credit card, and when I got my receipt, there was no discount. I asked the cashier to correct it, but he said I was supposed to ask for the discount before I paid. I said I did, when I showed him my phone and he scanned it. He said what he scanned was just for points. I reminded him I did ask for the discount, and he should have scanned the correct code, since he should have known what to do, not me. He said he couldn't make any changes. I think he confused the word "can't" with the word "won't". In any case, I said just cancel my order, which he argued with me about. I don't know what took so long, but he finally canceled the order, and said the credit should show up on my account in 3-4 days. I asked for the receipt of cancellation. He huffed, and after some more punching on his computer screen, he printed my receipt. I then said, ok, let's start over. He said he couldn't. Another instance where he used the wrong word. I asked him why not. He said he couldn't (there's that word again) because I can't order food just to get a discount after canceling an order. He flexed his "I'm the manager" and I can show you the manual if you want. Really? Anyway, it's hard for me to believe that his employer would agree that he should walk a $45 food order just to satisfy his petulance.
