Bought some Dior perfume. The lady at the counter was nice and patient when I asked her to spray samples of everything for me. I found the perfect scent for my lady. Thank Macy's.

What in the world has happened to this Macy's!?!?! I am sooo sad to write this, as I have loved this store for many decades. Today I visited and it was a virtual ghost town. Many shelves were bare and I was literally one of a few people in the entire store. So how is it possible I couldn't get any, or VERY little help from associates!?!
I wanted to try on a couple pairs of shoes but after waiting 20 minutes abandoned it because I was not able to have a salesperson assist. I then wanted a new MAC lipstick and was assisted quickly, being the only customer in the entire cosmetic department. However, I was quickly abandoned while my associate went on to have at least 6 conversations with other store employees. I was fed up and just walked away empty handed. Strike 2. On to housewares, I spotted an enamel coated Dutch oven on clearance I've been wanting! I picked it up and headed to the cashier. She informed me it was not returnable so I wanted to open it up to ensure there was no damage or chips. Well that really was very inconvenient for her and she made it very apparent she didn't normally work in that department and needed to return to where ever she was supposed to be. I was tempted to again walk away, but dang it, I wanted it, so I asked if she could just give me some scissors to open the box.
I left that store feeling like I inconvenienced so many people by my shopping there. Not a good feeling for a customer.
I am very sad for the current state of this store.

Such a bad experience, we always shop at Macy’s and never had a situation like yesterday evening around 4:30pm. I only wanted to purchase two face towels which I hand it over to the cashier as usual used our Macys card to pay. We were walking away and looking at the bill it was only billed for one item but she put both face towels in the bag. Took the receipt back to the counter and try to tell her looks like she have only charged us for 1 item. She pretty much started blaming on me that she never do this and I have to stay in the line to get the other item charged again. I mean if she did it correctly in the first place I don’t have to come back. It was very disappointing the lack of customer service knowledge she had that she didn’t even apologize for her mistake but keep saying it’s inconvenient for the once in the line that I had to show her mistake. I hear the cashier next stile was very rude to another client too. The store was very empty maybe because of the poor customer service they provide.
