My sister bought a Home Depot gift card for $300 here & mailed it to the recipient. When the card was used it was no good. The card number had been stolen & used somewhere in Canada. Home Depot Westminster refused to reimburse or issue a new card. While the theft of the money may be unrelated to where it was bought, they still received $300 that she will never get the value for. Home Depot Westminster says not our problem, talk to your bank. Bank says not our problem, it's a gift card theft. Bottom line, if you can't back an activated card that has proof of activation then, stop selling them. $300 is nothing to Home Depot. They will knock that off the price of a dented appliance. Terrible terrible customer service.

Check your lumber before you leave the store. They will give you warped wood then refuse to exchange.

Walked out after 20 minutes of no one helping us with paint. Employees clearing seeing that we need help and the response from them was "I guess no one's here to help". Um okay. Bye I'll go somewhere else.

This manager at Home Depot are cheapskates with customers . I offered 50% on a large broken acrylic sheet and they would only give me 25% so I did not take it. Why don't you try to be nice to your customers. It's broken and you still would have made money on it . 2:30 pm 6/2/23

Michael in lumber was so incredibly helpful today. Employees are always kind here. But today as I was looking, he was right there and helped so much. Please thank him again for me!

While waiting to get help in the appliances area. JQ one of the workers in charge of the section approached me and immediately asked what I needed help with. I needed to go get cash out, and he waited til I got back. He had great customer service, showed me and recommended many products. Left very happy with my purchase :)

This Home Depot is located in the plaza next to Ross and kfc... next to per adoption place. So expect parking to be pack on the weekends. This review is based on the key locksmith service. So I came in to get a duplicate house key and wanted to have customization. After paying a reasonable fee for it, the key did not work. I didn't open it the package completely. So it is still in tact. I went back to the same location and to talk to customer service and explain the situation. Customer service was kind enough to understand the situation and ask to remake another key. Turns out the customization does not work on house keys so I got a regular key instead. After making the customization and telling them I don't have the receipt but the first duplication is still in tact on it's original packaging, I was refunded the difference since I pay in cash. Overall, it depends on whose behind the counter and handling you. If you are being treated horribly and don't value you as customer, that person should be fire....manager or not. If I would have to pay the second duplicate, I would have given them a 1 star.

Horrible, came in to get a door lock. They lock down the aisle. Waited 15 min as other customer. Yet they could careless about their customers, no wonder the store is empty, guess selling stuff is not important, that they had to close the aisle so they can stock boxes. Ask the person how long until they open the aisle, answer "don't know whenever I'm done". Wasted my time and left.

I purchased a Whirlpool 25 cubic foot refrigerator 11 months ago from the Westminster Home Depot. Seven month later the refrigerator portion quit working so I contacted Whirlpool since it was still under their one year warranty. They sent me a crew of two guys who told me that it was magnets I had on the door causing the issue and to clean and unplug the refrigerator for 5 days and all would be well. I followed their instructions and the refrigerator still would not cool down, nor the freezer eiether. Another call, another visit. This time the crew told me that I had left the freezer door open to cool off my apartment. I denied that empahstically since I was raised to always close the door. They didnt accept my claim. Further they invalidated my warranty of one year and told the Home Depot that all bets were off and to invalidate my $198 five year warranty which I had paid for as well. So here I sat with a broken down refrigerator minus $1,900 I had paid for it. I had gone to the Home Depot numerous times to get service, or at least a replacement and was denied service or a new refrigerator despite the fact that it was still under warranty! This went on for several months. Then the other day I noticed an applicance repair ad on Nextdoor.com and contacted him. He came out the very next day assessed the problem which was a blocked filter which was causing frost buildup which he removed and replaced the blocked filter all for $360. A far cry cheaper than buying a new refrigerator or arguing any further with Whilrpool or The Home Depot. The moral of the story is DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES AND IF YOU MUST BUY AN APPLIANCE STEER CLEAR OF THE WESTMINSTER HOME DEPOT Neither of these two entities will do anything to service their junky appliance products.

I love this Home Depot! I live right next to this HD, today I came in to buy some plants for my garden, I was looking for a tool box and I found the perfect one. This Home Depot location is right next to the I-405 freeway that's on Westminster Blvd, it has a very large parking that is shared with other stores in this plaza. Overall, I highly recommend this Home Depot location because it's much better than the Home Depot location in Garden Grove right next to Costco Wholesale.

I needed new parts to fix my sink except I don't know what I need. One of the workers there I remember their name is Jorge. Even though it was already late at night and I have absolutely no idea what to buy, they still stay around and do their best to help me. They were patient, very nice, and even recommended me tools and items that I didn't know I need. And I managed to fix the sink and now it run really great! Would definitely come back again!

This may sound silly, and I was embarrassed, but two of our bathrooms are in the process of being remodeled. We are all using the one working toilet. Yes, it broke. (8:15 PM) It was too late to order "curbside pick up." I was desperate but as soon as I entered Home Depot (Westminster, CA), I was met by employees RACHEL, PHILLIP and ALLIE. I actually had a blood pressure pill in my mouth and no water. First, they got me a bottle of water (THANK YOU). Then, they loaded up a flatbed with the toilet and supplies I needed. These employees are the best; professional, polite and helpful. Thank you, so much.
