The person giving me the rental was horrible. He kept insisting on a secondary phone number. I told him that I had just been at that location a week before and I had a rental agreement that did not have a secondary phone number. He said that was impossible, I went and looked at my receipts from last week, and it does not have a secondary phone number. but he continued to insist that without a secondary phone number I could not make a rental. I do not have a second phone, a lot of people do not have landline anymore so they do not have secondary phones. So you’ve made me feel like crap for not having a secondary phone, said he would not do the rental for me unless I gave him the secondary phone. So I gave him Pizza Hut’s phone number. Then he was able to give me the rental. He then later proceeds to have me park in the handicap stall as a handicap person is trying to get out of the car. I told him I did not want to, and he said it was fine. Then he proceeded to tell me that it’s their policy to ask for secondary phone numbers as we had already gone past that and he was installing the rental. So here is a person telling me that there is a policy for a secondary phone number, that is sometimes enforce, and sometimes not, as he is having me park in the handicap section as a handicap person, trying to go through. No, I do not recommend this location at all. either that, or I would recommend this location if employees like this did not work there. The employee that helped me the previous week was amazing! this employee was not.

I was very stressed about renting a uhaul but the guys here made it super simple and were very friendly! I made the mistake of reserving the night before last minute and I was so happy to see this location had several options that met my needs. I'd recommend them to anyone moving in the OC area.

My first review is for the manager Aaron.When I came in to check in for my ubox reservation. Aaron was quick to call me to his window as soon as I walked in. He was quick, efficient. During my move, I realized I needed more space and had to rent another ubox. There were several errors made from the Uhaul departments with pricing and reservation but Aaron quickly took ownership and made things right. He didn’t hesitate to make sure I was beyond satisfied. Although I wasn’t happy with the overall price. Having Aaron on the team made things an amazing experience. With leadership like his this location will be one that I recommend every time. Aaron deserves all of the recognition he can get!My second review is for Nevin.When I returned my first Ubox, Nevin helped me check it in and got my second one loaded up. He offered to drive the truck and hitch it so that it was more convenient (awesome!). Once we got inside, he asked when I plan to bring the second Ubox back. I told him was trying to get both back the same day but it was already 5pm and I was told that’s when you close storage. He didn’t hesitate to offer me to come back as late as 6:30 to drop it off if I could make it. Another example of Aaron’s leadership and his team going out of their way to help me out. Thanks Nevin!My last review is for Anthony.Anthony was a little intimidating at first. Understandably so because his recent customer interaction was difficult(which he handled very calmly and professionally). However, he was so helpful and patient with me. I was trying to clear up some issues from the Uhaul group. He took his time to make sure he was doing everything correctly for me. Instead of making me wait, he got things rolling and assured me that he’d have Aaron his manager take a look and make things right. They definitely went above and beyond.Moving is stressful enough as it is. It helps to have helpful people while you’re doing it though. The team at midway are some of the best I’ve had the pleasure of being helped by. Make the drive if you have to and it will be well worth your time and money.

Just a good honest and helpful location. Some U-Haul locations are different where they could care less. This location is doing their job by doing there best for you!

I recently had a great experience with U-haul with the installation of my hitch and bike rack. I initially had my hitch installed at another U-haul location in Westmin and the process went smoothly.Unfortunately, the Bike rack receiver didn't fit my hitch(or so I thought) and was trying to buy parts to fit the bike rack on to my hitch.Megan helped me install my Thule bike rack in to the newly installed U-haul hitch by using the parts it already came with. Megan was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Overall, I highly recommend this location and the other Westminster location. The staff are so friendly and make the experience stress free

The employees here are nice people. The only issue I have is with being charged an extra day when I returned the vehicle back 1 minute early. I should've been charged for 5 days only not 6. I checked the vehicle out at 4:17pm on 9/26 and returned it at 4:16pm 10/1 as my receipt shows. Always check your receipt before you leave. Stay away from Budget I definitely feel uhaul is a better truck rental company.

The employees here are nice people. The only issue I have is with being charged an extra day when I returned the vehicle back 1 minute early. I should've been charged for 5 days only not 6. I checked the vehicle out at 4:17pm on 9/26 and returned it at 4:16pm 10/1 as my receipt shows. Always check your receipt before you leave. Stay away from Budget I definitely feel uhaul is a better truck rental company.

Very easy to reserve and pick up at this location. Friendly, informative quick service. Drop off after hours was a nice option as we picked up the truck in the evening. Just know if you drop off after hours it is a little bit of a process as you need to take pictures of the truck. But we'll worth it in my opinion.

1 of 2: Gave this a 2 star only because of the lady that helped me at the store who processed everything quickly, professionally, and efficiently. The other guy who was trying to turn me back at entrance on the other hand made a less than pleasurable experience. He either needs to find a new job or his lack of professionalism needs to be addressed and corrected. May even be the manager, and if that is the case it is a horrible example to other employees, on top of rude service being in the service industry. More details below. I completed all of my reservation early afternoon on the uhaul app, an otherwise seemingly smooth process for a 6:45pm van pick up rental. I knew I may not make it on time due to work so I opted for a 24/7 truck share option for which states I can pick up after working hours. I also left a message in regards to my reservation asking if it's ok if someone can pick it up for me in the case I can't make it on time before they closed and stated that I also opted for 24/7 truck share so I can pick up after hours in case someone getting it for me wasn't an option. Just making sure everything was lined up. Even loaded my Drivers License and credit card information for a quicker process so all I have to do is pick up the key to the van.5:39pm I called just to make sure everything was good to go. Being on hold the whole communication took about 30 minutes. Spoke with the rep. Everything was set and I was good with my reservation for my van rental so I thought awesome and continued with work. A little after 6pm I checked my phone and and missed a response that came in at 5:52pm for my earlier message I sent in the app regarding after hours pick up, (this was already after I made a call thinking all was set) that vans are not available for after hours pick up but my reservation can be updated to a truck. After seeing that I hauled gas out of work to get there before they closed which was 7pm. I arrived at 6:57pm, and was just happy to make it in time before closing. I walked in at the entrance 6:58pm when this gruntled man was passing by and started asking my questions so I was like oh he works here and thought he was trying to help me. I said I have a reservation, and he responded with there's only 2 minutes left. I replied, yes I made my reservation already online and just need to get it. He responds was it for 6:45pm, and I said yes. Everything about this guy was rude from the second I walked in and just seemed like he wanted me out the door. I understand I was there 13 minutes after 6:45pm, but I was there before closing just to pick up the key for my reservation and hauled gas because it seems there was some miscommunication somewhere on their side and I just wanted to make sure I can get the van. This is me rushing to get to the place out of work, already thinking everything was good to go with the call I had made an hour earlier. Luckily, a woman stepped in and took care of me. She asked me questions in regards to my reservation so she can process it. I told her I already uploaded my ID on the app, and my credit card is already on file. As she helped me, the manager or guy who spoke with authority there came back in to where I stood, just to lecture me as the kind lady was in the midst of processing my rental. With an upset rude tone, he talked about how I should call as a courtesy, and spilled his whole beans how he has family at home too, etc. Then he proceeds to tell me that he won't allow this to happen next time... It seemed to me he was trying to simply call me rude, or has some sort of anger management issue that needs to be addressed. I had no energy for this man's demise so I simply responded OK as I simply just needed the key to my rental so I can get back to work, with my family also at home, so he can go back to his family. I don't know if he was expecting an apology from me, or if he wanted me to give him a cookie for his efforts. I was just there to get the keys. The whole time this man was lecturing me for what ever reasons he believed he had, the lady
