Power went out because the owner didn't pay his bill! We heard it happens frequently. And, they lock you in (or out) at night.

Not good for RV full hook up camping... Terrible road going in , huge holes all over.. RV hook up sites too close together and full of permanent residents. ..And got woken up by some sort of equipment when it was still completely dark outside in the morning. Also lake looks like a puddle in a desert.I talked to someone on the phone who made it sound like there was plenty of room For RV full hookup site. She said just get there before 9 when the gate is locked and then pick a spot And fill out a ticket for late arrival in the Dropbox. I got there just before 9 When the person who locked the gate met us at the store and took our payment. He told me to drive around to where the full hook up sites are. There were only A few sites left to choose from one was too small to swing in Also with residence cars in the way. The others were way way unlevel. I ended up parking in the boat ramp parking lot for the night. Couldn't find anybody around to talk to in the morning about getting a refund. Called later but only got $15 refunded should have gotten a full refund after having to drive down that terrible road for nothing.

It truly is a beautiful place to visit. You can camp near the lake and you are in nature. You will have the sounds of nature during the day, and a sky full of stars at night.Restrooms: The restrooms at front have always been clean.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are always welcomed. ❤️Picnic area: There is a beautiful day use area with lake view, and picnic benches.

Just discovered this place today. Water level is extra-low this time of year of course, but I can tell it will be super beautiful when it fills up.

People discussed me. My campsite was littered with cigarette butts, plastic bottle tops, broken glass and beer bottle caps. I wish there were more trees.Restrooms: The restrooms are kept clean and well stocked. A very nice amenityDog-friendliness: It is pet friendly the problem is people refuse to leash their dogs. It's unfair to others when a random dog comes into your camp and tries to start problems with your dog that is leashed.Picnic area: Every campsite has a picnic table and the garbage is dumped everyday. Very nice amenity.

Two words.. mud pit!!! Wasn't able to swim or even walk around much without slipping and sliding. The mud was so deep it sucked the sandals right off my feet and buried them. Day use fee was $20. Ridiculous!

Hot chicks, nice water, everybody does their own thing, no one bothers you. It's a good place to hang out, swim and socialize, or in my case to just clear your head.

We always go to this lake super cool and family oriented and family owned and always working at the story until late night. Never had any issues. Take your boat or jetski and have fun. Nobody even bothers you

I have a lot of love for this lake. Fishing for bass is always a great time here. I’m on my kayak, so the best times to go are early morning before the jet skiers come out to play. A lil’ steep on the Day Use Fee ($20) and $4 extra for kayak use

Hidden gem has a nice boat launch and a little store you can get snacks beer and sodas. And bait it's not very far from sacramento so if your looking to get away for a weekend it's a nice place to get away from the city....
