I've been trying to buy a trailer from here for a week now and can't get any replies. I told him I was interested so I stopped by and looked but no one came out or anything. This would've been an easy sell for him and he doesn't even have the decency to tell me if it's available and what the price would be after MULTIPLE days of texts and a phone call. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE; it's obviously not appreciated. I live in wheatland & typically try to support small businesses but not after this experience.

This man routinely runs scams on the unsuspecting public. He sold us a 5th trailer claiming that it was 1999 trailer with everything working. He lists his items in Craigs list inferring that the listed item is his own personal property. When you talk to him on the phone he continues to lead you on this line of thinking. When you want to see the item, he tells you it's at his son's place and he'll meet you there. When you get there, that's when you find out this is an item being sold by a business. When you look the item over, in this case a 5th wheel, it looks great on the inside and outside but trust me, there is something seriously wrong with it that he's not divulging. When we got the trailer home and hooked up the water that's when the secret problem was revealed. All of the water lines and anything that had water like the toilet and hot water tank were busted due to the trailer not being properly winterized. When I called him to discuss the matter he basically told me to go pound sand. He lied right to me about 2 things on the phone. First he tried to claim that he did tell us about the water issues. When I read back his Craigs list description stating that everything was in working condition, he changed his story and said that it was in working condition when he sold the trailer to us. He has no compunction whatsoever to lie, cheat and basically steal your money in any way that he can. DO NOT do any business with Vacation RV & Auto Sales. You will regret it. This man needs to have his business license revoked and I intend to pursue this to that end. Here is the Craigs list ad we responded to: I am selling my 1999 no man made by skyline fifth wheel fully self-contained One slight out Central heat and air condition stand up bedroom sleeps up to six people lots of storage room cabinets nice and clean everything works in great condition no roof leaks and no dry rot very taken care of we are axing $6900 Any questions call 916-534-3792 please calls on do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers post id: 7296972390 posted: 2 days ago email to friend If you have done business with this company and found that you have been scammed, then please lodge a BBB complaint against them. Don't just accept that you have been scammed. This is what these types of people rely on. Do something about it. It's how they remain in business.

I had been looking for a nice travel trailer for months until I stumbled upon a post for this 2008 24ft beauty posted by Vacation Rvs and Auto Sales. The owner John was extremely responsive and professional. He returned my call within minutes, answered all my questions, and I was able to see the RV and purchase it without hassle that day. John even held it for a couple days for me to secure a tow vehicle. I was very impressed with my experience with this small family-owned business and I recommend that you give them a try!

WARNING! FEMALES DONT GO HERE, YOU WILL BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF I went to buy a trailer and while i was inside giving a $1000 deposit to hold the trailer for purchase the next day, I was having the trailer further inspected. After noticing various damages, like mold/water leakage/rodents and a broken sofa bed i asked for the $1000 deposit hold back immediately. He refused and tried to give excuses, but agreed finally to give me my money back. I went into the office alone with him to get my money and and he gave some of the money back and tried to keep the remainder and pressure me into a sale. After arguing and threateneing to call the cops, he handed the money out, i grabbed it and my money ripped because he would not let go. I ended up having to call the police. PS- I was also told this was a private dealer and that he was selling this for his parents. That was a lie.

I wish I would have read the reviews before agreeing to use them to sell our trailer. We verbally told them what we wanted to get for the trailer and had a "gentlemen's agreement". I was not able to go with my husband to sign the papers and he put the price we wanted and verbally told Shirley what we wanted and she did not correct him as to what should be put on the line so we got substantially less than what we could have sold it for. They call themselves ethical...ha! I wanted to like them but they are not good people. I will let God be our vindicator.
