“We flew in to Shelter Cove in a small plane: our first time there.
Weather is always an issue at the coast but Nikki assured us that she would work with us to reschedule, if necessary. She even offered to meet us at our parking spot to help us with our bags.
As it turned out, the weather cooperated and we had a great stay.
The rooms need to have the sliding door screens replaced. Aside from that, the room that we had was most comfortable and very clean.
And the view from the (very private) balcony was awesome!
We also enjoyed the cafe downstairs and both had great meals.
Should we have occasion to return, we would definitely stay here.

Rooms: As mentioned, the door screens need replacing. The room was VERY clean!
The balcony has dividers between, so they are very private. The views are incredible!

Nearby activities: If there’s time, be sure to walk down to the boat ramp area. It’s quite the gathering for local families for swimming, walking the beach, etc.

Walkability: You can pretty much access everything on foot.

Food and drinks: A very nice breakfast and super friendly staff.”

“I stayed here on my way to Fortuna, CA. I never felt unsafe. Room was clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze even though I showed up super late. There's a bar next door and a little table to eat at the entrance of the property. All in all I was very happy.”
