10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Whittier is a top notch school with phenomenal and brilliant coaches. The owner and head coach is a high level, skilled instructor who is a Team USA Grappling Coach, UFC cornerman, and actively competes. The coaching staff is amazing, legit, and dedicated, creating a positive, motivating, and super welcoming atmosphere. They practice what they preach. The gym excels in its kids classes, where coaches are really skilled at teaching sophisticated concepts in an understandable way, striking a perfect balance between discipline and play. This fosters a love for Jiu Jitsu while building confidence and teamwork. The facility itself is a huge upgrade, offering programs for all individuals, including lightweights, heavyweights, and a strong women’s program. The open mat features a lot of bodies and skill levels. The sense of community here is unmatched, making it an excellent place to learn, grow, and spend a good time. It is highly recommended.
