Amelia Mayberry Park is a large and well-maintained regional park in Whittier that offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. The park features a spacious skatepark with smooth ground, nice ledges, and manny pads, making it popular among skaters, including well-known skaters who visit. There are four basketball courts that are well lit, and a big sports field suitable for softball and other sports. Families enjoy the playground with slides and swings, as well as the splash pad during summer, where kids can cool off and have fun in the water. The park also includes picnic tables, restrooms, and plenty of parking, making it perfect for gatherings and outdoor activities. For those interested in fitness, there is a free outdoor gym that uses body weight, and the senior center offers daily activities like karaoke, bingo, and meditation. The park is clean, safe, and busy with families, dogs, and people exercising, making it a great place for recreation and relaxation.
Bad ass, Chris Joslin goes to skate there. This foo is amazing and he's pretty friendly too. Worked out at the park with him one of the times he rolled up with his crew. Wanted to say, he's a good biker as well... Lol .. but this skatepark is pretty good to me. 5 stars
