BlacknGold Studio is Our Go-To Spot
I am a pro Artist and full time musician -This is Rick & Teena’s main rehearsal home, and for good reason. The vibe at BlacknGold inspires creativity —it’s clean, creative, and boutique without being pretentious. The decor actually inspires you to work, and the space feels private and like an abundant comfortable home studio.
My BNF Entertainment’s artists also rehearse here regularly because it’s consistent, affordable, and well-equipped. Tons of backline options, everything works, and the sound board is solid. No loud metal bands bleeding through the walls—just a space where you can actually hear yourself and get things dialed in.
The owner is quick to respond, easy to work with, and keeps the place running smooth. It’s rare to find a rehearsal studio that feels this dialed-in and artist-friendly.
If you’re serious about your sound and want a space that respects your craft, BlacknGold is it.

Been in and out of bands for 10+ years and out of all the studio’s I’ve recorded or rehearsed at….none come close to BNG.
Black N’ Gold is an absolute hidden gem in Uptown Whittier. The owner Mike is incredibly talented & knowledgeable with recording and all things music related.
My recording experience has been seamless, collaborative, organic and ultimately so much fun.
This IS the place you NEED to make music at.

Been a resident at the studio for a few years now. Finally got to record and work with the owner Mike, and he has been an incredible help recording and collaborating. He’s got a wealth of knowledge for ALL musical needs. Very accommodating, patient, understanding, and truly cares about the music.

Blackngold is more than just a studio while it has some great gear and versatile mic locker the community is the best part of the studio you can come for a session or for residency and find exactly what you are looking for as well as learn and create with a variety of people.

Amazing studio, fair rates and a really cool vibe! I’ve been working out of this studio for about 2 months now and have nothing but great things to say about it. The studio owner Mike is also extremely easy to work with. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Amazing setting, equipment, and management! Black and Gold Studios offers everything you need. Every studio session has been a great creative experience and if there was anytime I needed help, Mike would assist and would make sure I am familiar with the equipment. The studio set up is convenient and simple enough to come in and get right to work. Becoming a member at Black and Gold Studios has been a great investment in myself as an artist and I would highly recommend!

Hands down, one of my favorite places to spend my time. The space is comfortable, clean, welcoming and inspires myself, as well as many others, to create music together. As if the space and equipment available wasn’t enough, perhaps the greatest part of Black and Gold studios is the man in charge.
Not only is Michael an amazing and knowledgeable musician but he has an energy to him that draws out the inspiration and creativity within. Myself and band mates are honored to be a part of the black and Good family for over 2 years and look forward to making much more music there and recording in due time.
I Would highly recommend that anyone take the time to invest their time and energy at Black and Gold and experience the joyous venture that we have had the privilege to embark on with Mike and the team. Do yourself a favor and check out the space!

love this spot so much. practice here once a week with my band and have a blast every time. great spot to chill, hang out, and make beautiful sounds ^-^ great restaurants and cute shops near by too.

This place is definitely a VIBE! Two awesome rooms with great quality equipment. (I prefer the Neon room but the GOLD room is sick too) Mood lighting that helps you get in the creative spirit. Walking distance from great downtown shops, for when you need to take a mental break from recording. Oh and great parking. Safe parking that is constantly patrolled.
When you know your stuff is safe it frees your mind to be creative and get to business.
Highly recommend this place. Owner is very hands on and helpful.
