The manager Yolanda at this location is very rude. She can’t even keep tellers for more than a year and there’s never enough tellers to help people . I had a great experience with a young man who took his time with me and was always polite and now he’s gone.

Clean building and professional staff. Comparing to other Citi Banks this is the one I'd rather visit even if I lived far from here. There's plenty of parking as it's in the Whittwood Shopping center however the bank has its own parking lot or at least more private. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Don't bother going here to open a new bank account. One of the female employees here was extremely rude she didn't even want to hear what i had to say. Instead she raised her voice at me andtold me to,"go to another bank such as Chase or Bank of America". It seems like they either don't want new customers at this branch or she didn't want to do her job.I've worked customer service in the past so, I know what it means to try to get people back in the door. But not this place, they don't know the meaning of customer service. Citi bank needs to retrain their employees or educate them on customer service. Because the way she spoke to me was not the correct way to handle the customer/guest in any situation.

Citi Bank located on 15410 Whittier Blvd, Whittier, CA 90603 has violated CA BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL CODE 17200, Chapter 1 of Part 3 of Division 7. My husband and I, each with separate business accounts have endured much grief in December 2022 and April 1, 2023 through May 26, 2023. What we have experienced is an unfair and deceptive business practice with misleading advertising. The branch manager, Yolanda Slim, neglected to fulfill her duty of Standard of Care when I addressed the issue. She refused to review the evidence to prove that they owe me $700 bonus, the same evidence that resulted in paying the bonus and this negative feedback after filing complaints with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau four times. She argued to say that my $10,000 of $25,000 deposit to open a new account came from Citi accounts. Ironically, Citi's own online banking page shows otherwise. Her professional negligence resulted in two months of agonizing grief and loss of interest payment from my other bank. This is my second time fighting for the bonus. With my husband's fight for his bonus, we noticed Citi's repeated pattern of unfair and deceptive business practice. The repeated pattern follows these steps: 1) the branch offers the bonus on a flyer, 2) Citi doesn't pay the bonus within the time agreed, 3) the Personal Banker at the branch opens an investigation for Executive Response Unit (ERU) , 4) Citi's ERU then sends out a letter to the customer stating that he/she/they are not eligible for the bonus and to see the terms and conditions attached to the letter. Ironically, they are the same terms and conditions that our Personal Banker at its branch followed to check our eligibility for the bonus and opened our accounts. My husband and I have received several bonuses from Citi in the past, and through our Personal Banker, we have learned that the "180 days" mentioned in the terms and conditions refers to the date of "opening" the previous account, but it is not clearly stated in the terms and conditions. It is written to confuse the customers or ERU does not understand its own terms and conditions. Chase bank uses the same rules of counting days from the previous account "open date" and not "closed date" when they check for eligibility to open an account for the bonus. While Citi holds your funds hostage while you put up a fight, they make money on your money with no intention to pay any interest. The customer must keep its minimum required balance in the account to avoid any monthly maintenance fees and must keep the account open to receive the bonus, when the customers finally win the battle. This is another dirty tactic to borrow money from its customers without paying a penny for it. My husband and I saw Citi as a financial giant that we could trust. These three experiences of the same unfair and deceptive business practice with repeated pattern, within the last six months, completely erased any positive thoughts about Citi. I regret promoting their bonus deals to my friends and loved ones.

I opened up a business account with the business department (heidi butcher) I believe she made me run around getting a bunch of documents and paperwork and she finally they told me everything was good. So Everything was in order and I would get a debit card within a couple weeks. But I did not get anything I went on to check and was told my account was closed because they needed further information I wish I wish I would have known that. I'm guessing that the business department never submitted the i for they needed and I have email proof . The teller seemed like she was doing her best but her manager came over and treated me like I had tried to open a fraudulent account. She tossed the check a had gotten from a vendor at me. Told me she couldn't help. Honestly this whole situation has me fuming I can't believe that a bank can stay in business treating customers like this.

One Star is "NOT GOOD"? It should be HORRENDOUS.I spoke to a representative named "Shine". I could not understand a word this lady said. Why do you not have folks at a local branch answer our calls? instead, you relay the call to a foreign land where the folks there are trying to help but are simply unintelligible. I am not assuming this, this is what "Shine" told me. Get your cash out of these big banks; they do NOT care about you. I will remove my money from Citibank tomorrow. Absolutely the worst

I fell for a third party scam unfortunately and Citi not only closed my account which was necessary to protect me, but now the lady who works here is telling me I will never be able to open a checking account with them again. People fall for scams everyday and Citi bank is treating me like I am the criminal here. I was scammed I am just as upset about this as Citi yet somehow I'm being treated like the bad guy. Not fair, all I wanted was to open a new Citi account after learning a lesson about scammers. But I guess they see ME as the criminal.

Absolutely the worst bank I have ever done business at. Employees are annoyed you come in to the branch manager does nothing. I have been a Citibank customer for decades these employees are worst I have ever seen. So many banking options in the area I strongly encourage elsewhere. Today made a cash deposit in their ATM and it errored out rather than open the back to correct the jam they told me to call the 800 number and wait 10 days. Please choose wisely when choosing a bank!

Tiffani was obstinate to work with on my business account. Giving reason why she can't do something at multiple stages, giving no alternatives, I would try to solve it, sometimes it works, we get to the next stage, sometimes she says she can check, and then instead of checking she just tells the manager standing a few feet away from me, to tell me the same thing. I'm not a banker. Just tell me how to get my account going. I even called my accountant so they can figure out a solution and she refused to talk to her. I don't get it.

Within the last five years, we have had nothing but a pleasant experience at this location. It all started with experience at the teller without being an account holder. Then we could not pass up on the cash bonuses this branch offered and continues to offer for various types of accounts. We have built a long-lasting business relationship with Tiffani N. We appreciate her professionalism, strong communication skills, and down-to-earth personality that make the banking experience pleasant. We deal with many different banks in branches and online banking. By far, this branch experience is the best!
