Applied for an auto loan and received a vague email regarding the approval. Tried to get some answers regarding the loan and the lazy banker never replied back. Waste of time and an inquiry.

terrible services, the so call "managers" wasted my time having me sitting in the loby while she was in the gossip. Rather than have made me waste my time i could of gone to a different bank to open a new account. Le importaba más andar en el chisme que ayudarme abrir una cuenta.. And FYI the so call manager platique y platiqué con una pierna en la silla having a full office of customers. SO GHETTO.

Brand new location in Whittier and I can't say enough good things about the staff and how beautiful the lobby is. I'm always greeted at the door with a friendly face and I appreciate the community atmosphere of a credit union as opposed to a big, commercial bank. Keep up the great work!

I traded in my car with the Credit union loan with the dealership. We had a hard time with the dealership sending the money to our C Union to pay the loan off.But thanks to Ms. Nakia, she went above & beyond the call of duty. She went out of her way. She called the dealership more than once & was able to figure out where the cheque was actually sent to, w/c was the wrong address. We just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! to her for outstanding work. My husband & i really appreciate it.

Look, I love credit unions and hate banks. If you're going to do banking, you should do it with a credit union, or at least a community development bank. Why bother lining fat cats' pockets when you can receive the same service and invest in your community--or at the very least, receive the same service and not harm your community? And if your excuse for not joining a credit union is that there aren't any ATMs that don't charge fees, that's not true. Generally, if you're a credit-union member, you can use any other credit union's ATM without getting charged a fee. Plus you can use any 7-Eleven ATM without getting charged a fee, so there's really no excuse for not joining a credit union. I was glad that the former Banco Popular location was no longer vacant, although I was sad to see Talia's go. Plus, the new place would be a credit union, so an ATM would be that much closer to the place I normally stay when I'm in Southern California. I hate to write this one-star review, especially as this place's first Yelp review, but my recent experience with its ATM was awful. I had checks to deposit and money to withdraw. CUSC's newest branch has brand-new touch-screen ATMs, and the one I used was way too glitchy. First, it didn't read my card when I inserted it. After the third insertion, I was touching the screen to get it to wake up, and right at that moment, the language prompt appeared, so I inadvertently chose Spanish, and I had to use my admittedly gringo-limited Spanish just to get my card out. Once I got it working, I entered my PIN, and went about depositing my checks. Right when I was about to insert the checks, it told me I had entered the wrong PIN. That was weird, because I thought I had entered it correctly, so I reentered it and got back to the right place. I looked at both checks before I inserted them, and the numerals were clear. After the machine read them, however, it had the $1000 check as a $10 check. Look, I get it; 1000 looks slightly similar to 10.00, but as I said, I had looked at the check already, and there was clearly no period between the first and second zeros, so how did a modern ATM misread that? I corrected it, and that was that. When I wanted to withdraw money, I had to reenter my PIN. I'm used to having to reenter for each new transaction, but once again, it said I had entered the wrong PIN. This time, I knew there was a mistake. I reentered my PIN, and then the screen flashed quickly, and I had somehow chosen $40 instead of $200. I took the $40 out and reinserted my card so that I could get the remaining $160 out. Once again, I was told that my PIN was incorrect, even though I was already at the screen to select which amount. There's clearly an error in the software that is rejecting the first PIN attempt every single time. And why does it wait until you're almost finished selecting your final option before telling you that your PIN is wrong? Shouldn't it tell you right after you enter it? Finally, the place on the touchscreen where you enter your PIN is too high. It would be pretty easy to get someone's PIN by standing behind them and watching them enter it. That's why ATM keypads used to be down low and sometimes inside a niche, so you could cover what you're doing easily. I hope this place fixes its glitchy ATM soon. I'll definitely give it another try when I'm down south, but basic technical mistakes shouldn't happen with new ATMs at a new location. Where was the quality control?
