This place is horrific. Staff ignores u when u ask for something or their response is I'm on lunch. Then they tell u if u don't like our service call at 6 am and talk to the manger. Then u go to checkout and the checkers move as fast as the workers they don't. I will drive farther to go to another store this place lost my business

Every time I go they do not have live cashier check outs open. I'd prefer if they did but I can live with self checkout. The issue I have is when the self checkout doesn't work and required an attendant and I'm ignored for minutes until someone comes to press a button to then allow me to continue to check myself out. This happens often. This morning was most aggravating. Came in around 8am checked out 8:08ish. The checkout belt gives me an error and holds for an attendant. I am the only person checking out. Two workers at the front kiosk. One seems to be on break, eating a donut and her back is turned. The other one, middle age woman, mousy brown hair pulled into a ponytail, slightly plump, sees me. Sees the situation. I'm looking her direction. She quickly averts her gaze to make it appear she has not seen the flashing light of the kiosk. She does some other work, looks again at me and then looks at her co worker, who cannot see me (back turned), she puts her head down and continues ignoring me. After some minutes if me just standing there she finally asks the other girl to come "help on 5". The young lady does so very nicely. No issue with her. Never is. The mousy haired woman thigh does the all the time. I was the only customer there. I can understand if it was busy, it was not. I hope someone sees this and provides her some constructive feedback on best practices to assist customers and provide a better experience.

Brandon (who likes cats) - I know this because his name tag said so went above and beyond to find us eggnog (sans alcohol) on Christmas Eve. We were beyond satisfied with our Whittier Ralph's. We go back to this Whittier Ralph's because of repeated extraordinary service like this. This caliber of customer service should be the gold standard. Thank you for making our lives and our shopping experience seamless. We are very very appreciative.

The service at the deli here is HORRENDOUSLY terrible. I came to get lunch for a large group (actually I went to Stater Bros but their deli section was under construction and this was the next closest grocery store with a deli.) The menu had an option for a 16 piece chicken combo, and I thought "okay I'll get 32." So that's what I asked for. The lady behind the counter very curtly said "for an order that large you have to order in advance." Okay... Then why is it on your menu, listed separately from the catering information? I looked at the completely full warming tray behind the glass and asked her how many pieces were in the tray. She looks at me, hesitates for a second and then replied "umm, maybe 16." So I asked for 16. She then looks me up and down, scowls and says "I can only give you 8." What. In. The. World... The menu says 16, you tell me you have 16, I'm a customer paying the listed price like anyone else.. yet you won't sell to me?!???

Finding greater value prices at Ralph's from 10 years ago. ? From fresh to discounted. Summer, nice deals, to Fall & Winter. Everything moves along. Courteous & helpful Dept. Employees. Love the discounts & savings!Try the ? Sushi section☝️?ask for Steve.He will fix you up on the spot whatever's not already on display. Makes the most fabulous Beef or Chicken Teriyaki rice bowls including veggies. Cheaper and better than other places. FRESH!!Their $5 cut Fruit bowls are daily fresh. So is all the produce.Just☝️one wish for ?..I hope Santa delivers them at least 2✌️two more disabled shopping carts for Christmas. The amount of customers, we need them like Santa needs his ? REINDEER....HO HO HO!BUT, I Still go there to shop.???have been requesting?...so I figured I'd ask Santa this year. ?

This review is mainly to give a standing ovation to store associate Merlin. I've been shopping at this Ralph's for a while & nothing has ever really stood out from here until today. As I was about to check out at the self checkout today I witnessed something beautiful. An elderly woman had finished checking out & she was dizzy. Merlin checked on her & went out of her way to get her a chair for her. While another associate or supervisor was calling her to do stuff, she did what she had to do & went back to check on her. I was checking out & keeping an eye out too. I must say to see the care & attention that Merlin gave that woman today was sheer kindness & quick action. Merlin instructed the elderly woman to sit & wait until she felt better which she did. It was Merlin's quick thinking, & attention to detail that I had to post this review & say thank you for your act of helpfulness. In a world that is full of people lost in their own world. Many cease to remember that we are all inhabitants of this one Earth we all call home. Great job Merlin you alone are a 5/5. This store I give a 4/5, associates are nice, but produce isn't always the best. Decent thought

Absolute worst customer service ever! Personnel accept no responsibility for their mistakes and on top of that they insult you comments like " It's not our responsibility to make sure you get all your bags" and "It doesn't all revolve around you!" Those two comments were from the supposed manager of this evening's shift and her smug little bag girl. No apology or anything! I rarely shop here anymore and now they can be assured I never will! If I could give them a zero I would!

Again there were no checkers at the registers. Only self check out with one clerk to help. There is no way I want to get my groceries, then have to check & bag them. That's not my job. Prices are high enough. Aisles were crowded with boxes of things to stock on shelves, half of the bakery and meat counters were empty at 8:30 in the morning. Flowers dead, vegetables wilted.The only other clerk I saw was rude and no help. This is the 3rd time there were no checkers.. Good bye Ralph's at Colima.

There existed an aroma of cow manure throughout the store! I thought this was sense of smell gone wild, after asking another shopper they also found the aroma of a barn yard!

For the most part, I can find what I need in regards to groceries and toiletries. They offer discounts if your a member.
