Love Love this place. Let me tell you FABulous!!! Went for the first time and immidiatly felt very comfortable! The service incredible. Everyone here is very attentive curtious and most important knowledgeable!!! They know what there duing! Priscilla is a great stylist! She's young fun and knows her stuff she gives great advice on how to keep your hair healthy instead of trying to sell you products or cut off all your hair based on her income. She will only do what's right for your hair type! That I like, instead of going to another stylist that wants to take all your money and screw up your hair! Terrance the owner is fun! He makes you feel right at home! By the way they use all aveda products wich are great for the enviroment and the body! Oh and they pamper and massage you too by the way. I highly recomend this salon!

Burned my hair. Went to get the "Japanese Straightening" done on my hair. I've had my hair lightened for a long time now, and Audrey tried to do the straightening on my hair. It looked great when she was done, but when I washed my hair 4 days later, it fuzzed up! The bottom 3 inches of my hair was fried! I had to go to another (my regular) salon and have the manager cut my hair in a way so it didn't look too terrible. I got this procedure done so I didn't have to worry about flat ironing my hair everyday. Now I have to do my hair about every 3 days, and I'm in a deep conditioning treatment once a week. All because they said my hair was damaged in the first place. Let me ask you this, Salon Selah: if my hair was so damaged in the first place, why did you do the treatment on it?????

They destroyed my hair. The bleached blond (with the station next to the owner) spent the entire time texting friends. She left the bleach on way too long and totally fried my hair. The cut was a joke. I asked for an angled bob and ended up with a mullet. The esthetician talked during the entire facial and shared with me that she had no salon experience and that she attended beauty school 3 years ago and had been working at McDonald's all this time. I can't believe after I explained to her that I have sensitive skin that she put Aveda lavender oil directly on my face and I walked out of there looking like I was the survivor of a fire. How the heck do they stay in business???

Honestly this Salon is horrible! 1dt of all you can barely even find it in the location it's in! Parking sucks and you have to pay for parking which only allows you to pay for 2 hours and if you see Terrance plan on being there for at least half your day! My Esthetician left the first time, than i tried the other one she was great, come to find out she left too! I tried a new stylist because Terrance takes his time not realizing that people have things they need to do besides sit there and wait for him all day to focus on other things besides you hair, and talk crap about other business one in particular in Uptown, not to mention about the stylists, and estheticians that have left his establishment! Very UNPROFESSIONAL!! Anyways I tried out the new stylist she was great finished my hair in an hour and 15 min and I walked out looking fabuolous! I call to rebook and guess what? She QUIT! I don't blame her, i just wish i could find her! Well if you do decide to visit this salon be aware a lot of there employees up and leave so that must mean something is just not right! It can't always be the employees fault as the OWNER so like to make it seem!

Well my hairstylist left as well as my esthetician. I tried the new esthetician and I have to say it was torture. I usually give people a second chance but I dont think I can withstand the pain.

This place is amazing. I just had my hair colored some terrible pinky red by another aveda salon and, not wanting to go back, called Selah. They got me a last minute appointment with Georgia and now I only go there. I even went for my wedding "do". The staff is friendly. The tea amazing. Terrance is fabu. Try Selah once and you'll be hooked.
