Our favorite toy store. Where you can find toys from your childhood. They have something for everyone. Hard to find toys and candy. Friendly service and cool stuff. My child can't get enough of this place. We always walkout with a smile.There's just too much stuff to list but trust me you will find something to fall in love with.

So me and my wife frequently come and support the wishing well and the shop next door I believe they are the same owners we seen that they had Sonny angels on Instagram drove from La to Whittier and when we got there, no one was there at the register which is fine we waited patiently as we always do but an older lady comes to help us check out we ask for a sonny angel and she pulls it out the drawer, we ask if we both can purchase one she says no because we came in together. We both collect Sonny angels and we were just disappointed that we both couldn't get one we seem to only have a problem with her the younger lady is super nice and attentive and the other older man it also very nice. It just makes me sad because we love it here and just wished we were treated a bit better by this one lady. WE WANTED TO PURCHASE TWO SEPARATE ITEMS I WANTED ONE AND SHE WANTED ONE WE DIDN'T WANT TO PAY TOGETHER JUST INDIVIDUALLY

I was in uptown whit my friend were the wishing well was located. The man at the register was a white man in his I wanna say near 20's. The moment my friend and I walked into the store the man followed us around acting as if he was sweeping floors, and then followed us to the candy and drink section, He repeatedly followed us everywhere we went as if he thought we were going to steal or shoplift something. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store.

I'll start by just saying succinctly, this is a super cute store. It's a real gem. I brought my nephews here and they couldn't get enough of it. The younger one is lucky I'm patient because he really spent an entire hour going throughout the store looking at everything. Rebecca was the young woman working at the time and she said it was totally okay for him to pick up toys and play with them and try things out. My other nephew really enjoys sweets and snacks and the assortment of those was not lacking at all! They even had ranch sauce flavored soda but he certainly enjoyed it all. Having worked in a special needs classroom for many years, I really appreciated the space available for mobility devices and how the sections are split up and labeled with age suggestions in mind. There really is something here for everyone. Like I said, this shop is a real gem and everyone working here is so kind and so helpful. I know my little dudes can't wait for uncle to get paid again to bring them back, haha! I just may buy myself a superhero puzzle! Did I mention they've got puzzles near the front along with different sage sticks? I told you there's something for everyone here. Do yourself a favor and come get lost in here!

It's a cute toy and sweets shop located in downtown Whittier. Great to kill some time in, especially when there's an event going on and it's surprisingly opened pretty late too (10 PM on a Saturday evening). There's plushies, puppets, little fidget toys and knick knacks, themed toys after dinosaurs, holidays, animals, and much more. I surprisingly found 25 cent Fushigi Yugi keychains?? Very random and a series that I haven't seen since I was in elementary school. They also carry (but were currently out of) Sonny Angels and Smiskis for all you K-pop individuals out there. In addition to toys, there's candies of all kinds and origins and those novelty bottled sodas (think of Leninade and Ranch Soda). It's a fun stop for sure.

I called the store twice, and no one answered. When I went to the store later on, two employees, a man and a woman, were just flirting the entire time I was browsing. I would not recommend this store. It's a waste of time.

I know some have had negative experiences here but I walk by here every night and I do respect the owners for working hard keeping their businesses open. They have a good selection of candy and toys to choose from. It is very nice inside and you can tell that alot of time and care has been taken into making the place look good. Their prices are fair. One suggestion I have is to carry Imaginext. Another suggestion I have is to have premade cotton candy at events when you sell it for $2 outside your shop instead of using that ancient machine that takes wayyy too long.

Me and my boyfriend were just roaming around uptown and always go into this cute toy store because of the cute little things they have and we of course touch and look but we always handle things with care. While me and my boyfriend were in the store we had came across one section and were playing with the little fidgets. One of these shark fidgets was messed up and we did pick it up and made a joke but the manager or owner of the store came all rudely and BLAMED us for causing the damage on the toy instead of simply asking "was this toy already like this?" "Did you cause this" and being kind to her customers she straight up just blamed us and we stood our ground and said no we didn't cause that to the toy and she was disrespectful to us so we gave back the same energy. she then kicked us out when we did nothing and we told her to check the cameras but she "didn't have time for" that. We go into the next store and she follows us and kicked us out AGAIN because she owned the store "I own this store too" and she tells the person working there idk what I'm assuming telling her to not let us in. My boyfriend wanted to continue to ask what her deal was when she had no proof we did that to the toy and she then said "okay you can come in" but after being disrespectful, blaming us, and kicking us out BOTH STORES with no evidence, we didn't have the same energy towards the store...I DO NOT recommend this store. Also the same manager or owner did not even say excuse me when me and my boyfriend were busy looking at the keychains and she had to put something on there. Maybe she did but I didn't hear nothing. If I could give a 0 I would. Will be sharing my experience with others. Be better, where is the great customer service? I understand many people go in and destroy but it's better to ask if you aren't sure THAT person caused it or even check footage. Unfair treatment.

I am super upset, I have never had such bad customer service in such a cute little shop. Upon entering the shop, the cashier didn't even bother to acknowledge me and my girlfriend, the only real reason we went to the shop was to look for Sonny Angels. I had seen that they had restocked, and as a collector of many things these cute and collectible angel babies were my next target my girlfriend and I each collect these little figurines and we were denied the transaction because we came in as a group. upon asking why we weren't allowed to purchase the cashier answered. I am not the owner, so don't ask me why. The cashier made my experience here not worth my trip or my time.

Cutest little place of toys and candy. They have toys for all ages. Modern toys, baby toys, and vintage toys. Candy is a small selection but also carried today's current candies like Mr. Beast chocolates and throwback abbazabbas. Sodas of different flavors and current hydration Prime. This place.is definitely worth checking out.

Nice store, love the selection and that it's local. Didn't have any reason to post a review until we purchased $100 in gift cards. Came home and noticed the charge was $104. Called to see why, they said the terminal for a debit purchase using Visa was a percentage, but he didn't know what the percentage was, so he assumed it's 4%. I asked is it 4%? He said he doesn't know, the sign up front says the percentage (didn't get up to check), sorry about that, then the call ended. $4 lost isn't a big deal, but if I want to continue shopping here do I want to lose $4 every time on top of tax? At that point am I really supporting local business or just throwing away money when I can easily go to Target, Amazon, etc and know exactly what the total cost is and why?

I came in with my sister to walk around and take a look and a with in a couple of minutes a guy came up to me and asked me if I read the sign at the door and I can't have my bag on me . I didn't think it was a big deal so I left my bag on to the side but he continued to watch us as we walked around the store. It was so uncomfortable and I immediately left when I realized multiple people still had bags on and backpacks on, much bigger then my bag. I've never felt so singled out at I did in this store. Do not recommend for poc's

Always find myself shopping at this toy store for anime gifts for bdays. It was a nice choice. They have a nice selection of specialty soda pops as well. The cashier at the front is pleasant and gives a warm welcoming. Will def come back :)
