Thank you Matt for a great 1 hour treadmill workout this morning. Because at 6AM, in Whitter, there was nothing to do, Except work and workouts. I got a chance to do both! You didn't have to do it. You could have gotten the $18 (easy, it's a nice gym) and no word. But Little did you know you were showing kindness to A business owner who respects professionalism. You make a difference, at least for me you did.Keep up the good job and I leave you something that will last longer than that $18, this post and a life time referral in me.... All my clients will know about your gym.

let people tie their dogs up in the hot sun barking and crying right outside their facility with no water doors close no supervision. unacceptable and cruel

Their equipment is great before they change managers it was affordable but with the new owner it has gotten a little expensive waiting for price to go down other than that it is a good place to work out with old school equipment and with the new equipment. just bring the price down thank you.

For a gym that costs $70/month, you might expect a few more amenities than 100 sq. Ft of space, dated weight equipment and less than sanitary conditions. In fact, many other gym chains in the area offer more space, better equipment and more flexible hours than Uptown Gym, all while being around $10-$20/month. On a busy night, you can expect to fit approximately 30 people in this gym, and that feels like a dangerously TIGHT fit. Overall, the price gouging happening here makes the operation seem like the building owner's attempt at making the most money in a small amount of time, because there is no way that this is going to last long. Please don't spend $70 to work out in the equivalent of a garage gym. You're better than that.

I've been exploring new gyms and came across this gem yesterday. Though the gym itself is AMAZING (clean/modern/organized) I was very impressed with the owners themselves. One of the owners gave me a tour of the place and was so kind! I left with a free one week trial. I look forward to starting my membership this upcoming month.

The new Uptown Gym is a great environment for those who are first starting off on their fitness journey. However, for the more advanced lifter's and bodybuilders would find it to be a bit small and lacking weight and equipment.

I bought a year membership from the owner Richard just before the Covid 19 pandemic started. Then they closed their doors for a year and a half. Could not get ahold of Richard and a year membership is a lot of money. Now they just opened back up few weeks ago. I try to inquire about why they were closed and was told that it had new owners and Richard is no longer involved. Another thing is their prices are way higher then before. Buy a membership at your own risk. Chances are they may get shut down for covid again and all your money goes down the crap shoot like mine did.

Too expensive. Way too expensive. Not enough equipment for that price. Couldn't find what I was looking for.

By far the best gym in the area, helpful staff, never too crowded and all the weights are always racked in order
