Whittier Public Library has served the community for over a century, providing a welcoming environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. It offers a large collection of books, magazines, and resources, along with access to the latest technology and computers. Visitors appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are helpful and eager to assist with finding books or information. The library is a family-friendly space, with many seating areas and programs for children and students. Many find it a comfortable place to read, whether holding a book or using a tablet. Located near the police station, the library is one of the larger and more accessible libraries in Whittier, though parking can be limited. Overall, it is a community hub that connects people to knowledge, ideas, and one another, maintaining its tradition of excellence while adapting to the needs of the 21st century.
The renovations to the library are nice (it's been awhile since I've been), and it offers a lot of new services.

I love the the Whittier Washington library. It has such a huge selection. Comfortable, has many seating area's. Lots of resources for our city as well. Sure its convenient to read a book on a tablet, but there's nothing like the hands on feeling of holding a book and physically turning a page. Old school reading 📚 💯
