Comfortable, basic room for one or more persons. I stayed solo so I'm not sure about the larger rooms. Soft beds (perhaps too soft if you have a bad back). Comfy room. Overhead fans for good air circulation. The heat/ac unit is a tad noisy. I don't see a way to turn off the fan when the heat is on. Coffee and microwave. Location is excellent. No highway noise but close and convenient to offramp. Chris and Susan, who run (own?) the motel are quiet and cordial. One story motel so you can park right by your room. Hmmm. What else? Be careful not to drop the remote behind the bed. Got it! ?Rooms: ComfyNearby activities: A casino somewhere in townSafety: Safe neighborhood, though a tad dark.Walkability: Quiet, dark neighborhood. Looks safe. I didn't get mugged. Of course I'm sporting a cane. Hoo wah! Nice Mexican store kitty corner to the hotel. Meat counter, Mexican delicacies, good selection and fair prices. Nice people run it. Granzella hotel and restaurant a couple of blocks over. I hear the restaurant is nice. Looks like hunters stay there. Nice lady at the night desk. Very helpful and personable. Not the kind of woman you want to mess with, though. Be a gentleman. Always;

Stage Stop Inn is a wonderful, family owned, single story motel just a few blocks from the freeway. You can park in front of your room for easy loading and unloading. The rooms are clean and include a microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge and hair dryer. Staff is warm and friendly, yet allow for your privacy. I have stayed here once before, about 2 years ago and will continue to stop here on my travels on the I-5 corridor. As an extra bonus, I was delighted to see during my recent visit that they have a large array of solar panels on the roof!

This budget hotel had everything I could need! Good price, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the AC worked great during a very warm weekend. I will absolutely be staying here again next time I need to stop in Williams! Kudos to the staff!

Clean. Hotter than Hades. Called ahead. It was 115 and they did not turn o n theair conditioner. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. it took until 1am to cool the room down. We would have left but I was too sick with Vertigo to travel. They should have had the room cooled but did not and told us where the ancient AC was. It wss do loud we has tosleep with pillows over our heads. They were so cheap thete were only 3 pillows. The heat could have been deadly for an asmatic.

Advertisement stated $58/night. We arrived to be told $110, after some discussion, lowered to $80. Not pleased. This was not a $110/night hotel.

Good budget motel. Renovated old classic style. Very clean inside and out. Had A/C, fridge, microwave, big screen and 2 comfy chairs. Separate, small clean bathroom. Nice pool, can walk to several good restaurants. Management was very friendly and nice. Will return when in the area.

Loved my stay at the Stage Stop. The owner went above and beyond helping me with heavy bags and showing me how to work everything. The place was clean and comfortable. I slept really well.I will definitely be back.

Stage Stop In gets 5 stars because of how well they pull off what they are - a classic retro motor lodge of days gone by. Simple, economical, and convenient. The proprietors are friendly, accomodating, and attentive to their property and guests. Rates are affordable. Expect a clean room, fast wifi, great a/c, and parking in front of your room. Grounds are well lit at night so I felt my equipment in my vehicle was secure. Their small number of rooms means fewer guests to share the pool with. Overall this is one of my favorite retro motor lodges in California.

The proprietor was a real gent, engaging and friendly. The rooms were immaculate, stylishly furnished, and cozy. I am on the road frequently and can say without equivocation that this is the best inn I have stayed in for quite some time. Delightful!
