Went there today to do my drivers test, I was only a few minutes late and I traveled all the way from Chico, and the website said that they were closed today so I thought they wouldn’t do behind the wheel drivers tests today. I went to the Chico DMV for confirmation and they told me I need to knock on the door of the Willows Dmv. Dumbest crap ever. So I was late because I thought that they closed until the sweet lady at Chico DMV said that. They were extremely rude when they came out to talk to me about the Behind the Wheel drivers test and told me I was 10 mins late and wouldn’t take me in EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NOBODY ELSE THERE BUT ME. I told them that they have terrible communication and they denied they did, a sweet lady walked up behind me to talk to the woman I was talking to, to see if they were also open. If that doesn’t prove poor communication, then I don’t know what will. Do better Willow DMV. You guys suck!!

Across the board dmv sucks. Poor customer service, way too long of waiting lines, can never get a hold of anybody by phone and their live chat absolutely sucks as in nonexistent. I’ve never seen a group of people they get paid so much money to sit around and do the bare minimum.

They purposely don't take my phone calls and purposely don't call back when they're supposed to. Everyone there is awful at their job, they are no help at all.

Really bad experience here staff need more education on their job,went there to register a vehicle then they told me I need an additional paper I got that paper went back couple weeks later then they told me I need something else (was getting upset already why they didn't toll me all I needed right from the beginning?)I got what they needed I went back for the 3rd time now they telling me I need additional paperwork, this place is a joke

Went for drivers license renewal, it took 45 minutes for processing and test taking; but had difficulty with fingerprint scanning device would not takemy scanned finger print The clerk was not helpful in #1. I was not able to get her attention in help with the pc scanner, waited another 7 minutes at her station to get her attention, granted she was helping others in line but she let me stand there longer than needed #2,she was not helpful in instructions on taking the written paper exam as I was unfamiliar with the process. She appeared to me to be purposely ignoring me like I was interrupting her job. Heck we people are the reason for her to have a job as a government employee to help and guide us through the process. She needed to chill out for 2 minutes and quit the glaring eyes. That is why the 2 stars was going to put 1 star but it was several months ago but I am still bothered by the inefficiency of the small town service which should have the feel of welcoming and feeling of goodwill, Sad, it didnot.

Grant it, this DMV is faster than the ones in larger cities.HOWEVER, this goes for ALL DMV's State wide.The time that it took for me to get a number in line, I could have just paid my registration fees.The inefficiency of all California agencies is STAGGERING!!The same practices that collapsed the EDD. Even after updating my address for my DL and all my vehicles, the system still had an address that is 3 years old for the registration for my daily driver.How is that even possible?Then there's the $3+ price gouging for using a debit/credit card. Using this payment method actually saves the state money by not having an armored truck service to process cash. I just don't get that! Think about how much they make just off debit card payments State wide. IT'S LUDICROUS!5⭐'s for the Sweet Lady behind the counter.-4⭐'s for the DMV in general.So, 1⭐ total.
