Very friendly gas station will stop again here definitely. stopped here by accident but had a nice encounter here. If you are a truck driver there is a dirt lot but no pumps only if you drop trailer and bob tail to pump you can do it that way if you’d like

Not worth the stop. Made the mistake of confusing this with a Travel Center. This is a poor imitation of an AM/PM. The sign says they have a chicken diner on the premises in addition to a reasonably stocked convenience store - the diner was nothing more than boxes & crates in an empty space. The women's bathroom was gross. No toilet paper in sight & leftover blue hair dye (?) in one of the sinks.

This rating is for the Travel Plaza Manager, Steve. On June 16, 2021 we were N/B-2, I-5 Fwy towing a travel trailer when a semi pulled alongside and the driver pointed at the left rear of my pickup. As I slowly pulled off the fwy I noticed a wobble but was able to pull into a safe access street adjacent the travel plaza when the 8th and last lug on my left rear wheel snapped and the wheel popped out at an angle...we were stranded. We had purchased the truck a week earlier in Woodland and had to jump through some hoops to get the truck in for repair. During this time the Travel Plaza Manager, Steve, was helpful in making recommendations, providing excellent counsel and keeping our spirits up in general. Thanks Steve, you are a gem and the Travel Plaza is fortunate to have a caring, helpful individual like you in their employ. re: previous reviews of the Travel Plaza from others, it is clear you have addressed many of their concerns. Well done!

Used to be better, but last time I stopped here was less than acceptable. Signage says 5 AM to 10 PM, however at 9:30 PM they had signs up that they were closed and that the restrooms were closed for maintenance and for the night. The door was still open and a clerk was at the counter, and all she wanted to say was "sorry, the restrooms are closed." That's not something a driver who is shutdown and stuck there overnight wants to hear.Don't be surprised if you find the gravel lot for trucks littered with biohazard trash because the owner doesn't want to keep the hours posted on the door. Very few drivers do choose this location out of necessity. Read the other reviews, they pretty much state the obvious. The restaurant was closed years ago and there are no plans for putting a new one in. There is a chicken grill here, however it's been a long time since I had anything from it as it didn't have many choices at the time frame I was visiting in (usually later in evening when the grill is closed or about to close). The store has not been a 24-hour store for a long time (years). The facilities here are in poor condition and the whole building needs updating. The staff working here are usually very friendly, but I've never seen the business owner/manager on the premises, which is something that could improve the reputation here. An owner who cares about their business shows a presence and makes improvements. This location has lots of untapped potential and needs good management to utilize that potential. The biggest downside here are the local organic rice farmers, who use no pest control (although organic solutions do exist, which can also be used in the vicinity of local businesses to ensure customers aren't driven away) . The mosquitoes are huge and many carry west nile, so avoid this place at night during the warm season. If you must park overnight during the warm season, keep your vehicle closed up tight or you'll be the feast. For the last night I was here = no stars (negative not possible)Overall experience with staff = 2 stars

The two girls I met there were very nice and helpful the bathrooms weren't super clean but decent -one for men and one for the women. The stalls had locking devices on them the main door didn't on the bathroom but that's OK that's as it should be when you have a handicap stall & a regular sized stall. Lots of little snacks to choose from (a little pricey )but all truckstops are ,so that's the norm especially for these small mom-and-pop truckstops. The parking area is large for trucks lots of room & very clean and the gravel lot is graded. I did not have any problems with mosquitoes and I am allergic to them but I have had problems at the other major truckstops with mosquitoes it's just the nature of the area with all the farming. Did not have a bad experience here at all and will be back this week to park again at this truckstop.
