“Great paint buying experience! Michelle helped me pick out a few colors that all worked great with my living room. She steered me away from some choices that were too dark/bold for my smaller space, and when I painted swatches on the wall I completely understood her logic. I also really appreciated that she didn’t rush me despite my arriving close to closing. I am so happy with the color and quality of the paint I bought, and I’ll definitely be returning to this specific location for future projects!”

“We've been using this SW location for years. When we can, we try to make purchases when a discount is available, since we like their premium, Emerald, line of paint. But today I was in a pinch and headed over without checking for any discount. Daniel, at the counter, rang up my gallon and said, "Hang on," and looked up an online discount that saved me about $20. Super customer service!”

Above are some of the words I would use to describe Carlos & Yvette (and Team), the owners of Renew Painting. In a short period of time (the past month), I've utilized their service two separate times already. I have a rental property in Torrance but live almost 400 miles away. My decade-long tenants moved out, so I knew we had a lot to fix up. Painting the interior of the townhouse was one. I received a total of 3 quotes -- 2 were through a family friend who's a realtor and 1 through my own research -- Renew Painting. From the very beginning (estimate phase), Carlos and Yvette were wonderful to work with. We conducted everything through FaceTime, emails, texts, & phone calls. At no point did I feel uncomfortable being far away. I was even able to get Carlos to help me with multiple non-painting jobs around the house. His knowledge and skills are second to none. I did end up visiting the property the last day of the project and met their entire family! What nice people! Just this week, I asked Carlos and Yvette (Yvette's role is akin to a COO, making the operation run like a well-oiled machine) to help me with a small job at my property. They came through for me again. This dynamic duo is a pleasure to work with! Best of all, Renew Painting's prices are competitive, and quality is never sacrificed. Hands-down, if your home, apartment, building, or place of business needs a painting overhaul, Renew Painting is a must-call. I've sung their praises to everyone in the South Bay whom I know. “A visit to this store is like going back in time, when you enter a privately-owned business and the owner smiles and acknowledges you, and proceeds to offer you a nationally-recognized quality product at 1/2 to 1/3 the price of big stores such as Home Depot, Lowes, and Sherwin Williams.
I expected a watered-down product involving several coats of paint. No, it was the real deal: a thick, one-coat, nationally-recognized brand of paint that covered the job in one coat...at an unimaginably low price.
For years, I have been wary of this store's sidewalk sign, "One gallon of paint for $10." After giving this store one try, I will NEVER, N-E-V-E-R purchase paint anywhere else.”

“I found H&Q colors via Yelp and I'm glad I called them. After messaging them, it took only a few hours before they called me and ask about the issue. Aaron was good at communicating and figuring out what repair was needed. Scheduling was easy and definitely made sure to accommodate us. As for the repair, I would say 10 out 10. Aaron went above and beyond to fixing our ceiling, enough so that it looked like nothing had happen. Also, during the Job, he made sure that our floors would stay clean. This Sherwin-Williams-Williams Paint store Staff is friendly, and very helpful. He noticed my military cap, and open a in-store account, with military discount. He even added at no charge a paint can opener and stir sticks. Easy parking and the store is clean, with well displayed products. I recommend the staff, and this brand of paint store.”
