“Well maintained and staffed, family owned business off Sheldon exit in Elk Grove, I've never had such a fruitful experience as this. Friendly, helpful staff, a broad affordable selection of inside plants, various sun needs plants, beautiful pots, pond plants, bonsai, sculpture fountain and tropical plants. My new favorite spot ♥️ A lovely spot to walk around with my nephew. Public bathroom and carts for convenience with child seat! I love the selection of native plants and of all the places I've bought plants, had the best success rate with plants from here ❤️”

“Solid customer service from the staff. Always a quality product. Although I do now go pick up everything using my own trailer due to large amounts of sand in the compost I had delivered a couple years ago. They said it is so the product slides out of the truck. Sure didn't make sense when it was In the middle of the pile but oh well, what's 1 yard out of 12 yards of high quality (and high priced) compost. We like this place over all. Just go pick out and pick up your stuff. Haven't had a single problem doing it that way, also haven't had any big piles of sand mixed in either. Good luck.”
“My landscaper refers me to see Armando. He was so helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I was able to get what I want and I can tell Armando would go extra miles for his customers. I got a very healthy, beautiful trees with a lot less than the big boxes store. And he charge very little fee for delivery. This local business is a gem. Highly recommend”

“We have ordered bark from a couple of different companies and were never satisfied with the product until we found Roundtree Rock & Garden. Their deco bark had very little additional, unwanted materials and the bark all had nice size and color to them. We have used them a couple of times for deco bark and it has always looked great. We also used them for 3/8" pea gravel and were very happy with the product. As an added convenience, they deliver for free if you order over ten yards. The delivery driver is very nice and makes the whole process easy. I would highly recommend Roundtree Rock & Garden.”
“I recently (late summer 2024) bought some El Dorado Stone- Country Rubble- from Thompson Building supply. They were GREAT! I ended up going twice for my project, and each time they were helpful and courteous. They also have a huge and varied selection of materials. The "yard guys". were especially helpful. Drove us around, made suggestions, and took their time. No rushing me. In that regard, I need to give a special thanks to Jason. He was so helpful and interested in my DIY project. He even remembered us, altho there was a several month gap between purchases. I live in Solano county, and there are rock yards in Solano -- not nearly as big a variety, and rock yards in Contra Costa County-- condescending (cause I'm female and DIY?). Anyway, well worth the 1and 1/2 hour drive for me to go to Thompsons and be treated well.”

“You need repair tools if you can do it yourself or check the price before calling a construction worker. There is everything in the house if you need it, nothing is missing. The staff is funny even if you just come to see. Have fun.”
“Clean, well lit. Employees were helpful and friendly. They took my paint order and got it ready for me while I went to the bathroom. Bathrooms were clean, stocked, no issues. After picking up a few more items, I went back to pick up the paint and checked out. Practically no wait in line (1 person ahead of me but it went quickly). Got everything I need and had no problems. Thank you Home Depot and keep up the great work!”
“I have been meaning to post this for several months! I have had the best experiences working with the Power Inn Rd. Home Depot in Sacramento. My most recent project was having two doors installed. I bought a front door; and the other door had to be made for my hot water heater closet. The doors are perfect. The installer was also professional and did an excellent job. If you are shopping for doors, ask for Sterling! Also, see if you can request Jesse to install them. Both Sterling and Jesse were a blessing to me! I would like to add that when I have called the store with a question, the personnel have always been knowledgeable and polite. The Power Inn store is my Home Depot!!”
“I have read many reviews here, some make sense, others come off as silly.
The reason for my 5 star review:
1. Always getting the help I need
2. Employees are employing and know what to do
3. They have the stuff they should have
4. While I have come off minor inconveniences, I understand that it is a large store and not everything will be perfect.
Yes sometimes certain sections are closed. Or even worse, the employee who works in a certain section that you need help with isn't there and left 30 minutes ago and you didn't realize it (happened to me) but we gotta understand that it's completely fine. The store is basically always clean and organized and employees are helpful. I almost never see any part out of stock. (haven't seen it yet tbh). So far, out of every Home Depot ive visited, this is my personal favorite Because:
- the best help ive gotten so far
- Product is always availble
- not a large drive”
“We have been looking for a fridge for the past 4 days and let me tell you, Dennis and Justice were so helpful.. After being frustrated with which one to choose based on our house measurements, we were fed up and the gentleman name CHRIS was SO helpful and made the entire process so easy for us. We left Home Depot so happy because or Chris!! Chris, Justice and Dennis are located in the Appliance department. If you need someone in appliance then go to these 3 folks. Great people! Value, not terrible nor great.”
