“This location is a HIDDEN GEM!!! I highly recommend to bring your pets here too this location. This location truly does care for the animals well being and definitely not trying to pick your pockets. I can go on and on but it won't justify what I say until you experience this location. “Dr. Hunter has come out for ranch calls and takes care of our retired police horse, Oak. Always reliable and affordable for us. We recommend Hunter, and Badger Creek for the small animals ”

“Great care for my baby! Doctor's are more concerned with the animals well being than running up fees for numerous tests. I appreciate that the visits are not rushed and the doctor spends as much time as needed to explain diagnosis and treatment options. Office staff also provide excellent service and are genuinely concerned for the animals care. Great team you have there!!”

“Our regular vet was booked up for two weeks, so at the recommendation of a friend I made an appointment with Dr. Silva for our visibly sick cat. Dr. Silva and her staff were very warm, kind and knowledgeable at a tough moment for our family, and were glad to help us treat our cat as she transitioned from this life. Note, the hospital is located in a rural area intersected by several busy roads, so give yourself plenty of time to get there if you’re driving from the Sac metro area. Early mornings there is a lot of commuter and school traffic.”

“The staff is wonderful. Very efficient procedure to drop off and pick up your pet after surgery. Love the reminders about your appt and clear post op info and report of what care and treatment was performed during surgery. Recommend them 100%”

“I love some of the people there. Shelters can be very hard and devastating. There is some suspicion of putting down animals un lawfully in many SPCAs but who knows. I know my volunteering experience has been wonderful and I know there's people in there that care. I loved working with critters and cleaning. The critter side of things were really thought out. Sometimes there was a volunteer not on bored with certain things and forget stuff. But overall maintaining the place was great.”

“They are so nice and they explain everything in detail to you. I was able to get an appt in as soon as possible on Christmas eve. My poor dog had a very bad ear infection due to chronic allergies as explained by the vet. The front receptionist and the vet are so nice. Would highly recommend this place.”

“This was by far the BEST experience my family and my dog has ever had. The staff is beyond friendly and Dr. Singh Gurpreet was very knowledgeable and friendly with anyone he comes in contact with. I called with my dog needing to been seen right away due to a unexpected injury and they were able to schedule me an appointment right away. My dog ended up needing to stay and get stitches and needed to be sedated. I was 100% comfortable leaving him there to get the care he needed. By the time I picked him up you could tell they spend time with your animal making them feel comforted in a time of stress. They have different payment methods you can use like care credit, splitting payments on two different cards, etc. I will be forever grateful for the staff, doctors, and RVTs that took care of my sweet boy. THANK YOU. & on the plus side the facility was very clean.”

“My dog is VERY difficult when it comes to going to the vet, grooming, etc. he has really bad anxiety and starts shaking and growling at anyone who gets close to him. He needed his glands expressed and i was sure he needed to be sedated because is super protective of his butt and we (his family) can never get a muzzle on him. The doctor was SO patient, didn't react to my dogs aggression, and was able to get a muzzle on him! Not only was the doctor able to express his glands, but he also trimmed his nails and shaved parts of his butt that was matted. He also prescribed some anxiety medication for my dog and it was very affordable. Great experience overall and we will definitely be returning for any of our medical needs!!!”

“Truly appreciate the time and care that the doctor and entire staff showed for our four legged family member and for us as the humans lucky enough to be part of their lives.Absolutely love the honest approach and the care that was taken to explain any and all questions.Never felt rushed but nor did I ever feel like they were trying to upsell me for services that weren't necessary. It was incredibly reassuring and comforting to have a real conversation.”

“We called a few vets when looking for care for my cat, and by far they were the nicest and most informative on the phone. I guess that's why my best friend's parents have been taking their dogs there for years. We just had his first appointment and literally every person was nicer than the last. The vet was super sweet and took excellent care of my baby. Also, their prices seem very reasonable compared to some other vets I've visited in the past. I cannot say enough good things about this place and I would definitely recommend!”
