About Sacramento SPCA
The Sacramento SPCA is a dedicated organization that has been working to foster a compassionate community for animals and people since 1892. They strive to reduce pet overpopulation through affordable spay/neuter services, promote humane treatment through education and outreach, and assist pet owners to keep pets and their families together for life.
The SPCA staff and volunteers are known for their kindness, patience, and evident love for animals. They offer a variety of programs and services, including adoptions, spay/neuter clinics, and educational camps. Visitors have shared positive experiences, describing the staff as sweet, caring, and knowledgeable.
While the majority of experiences are positive, there have been a few instances where the adoption process was not as smooth. However, the SPCA's commitment to animal welfare remains strong, as evidenced by the trust and appreciation expressed by those who have surrendered or adopted pets through the organization.
