Colagrossi Wines is a Windsor gem in Sonoma County's Artisan Alley, focusing on Italian varietals and blends like Sangiovese, Barbera, and Aglianico. The wines are delicious, really good, unique, and offered at reasonable prices. The experience is fun, laid back, and personable. The staff is friendly, informed, efficient, and knowledgeable. The owner is an amazing host, cheerful, helpful, kind, and the star of the show, making the visit lively and comfortable. The location is in a business park with a sales and tasting room, not a rolling fields setting, but it is cool and there are other places nearby to park and walk. Many visitors join the wine club and highly recommend the experience, considering it a favorite not to be missed while visiting the area. The winery is open Friday through Tuesday from 12-6 and by appointment Wednesday and Thursday.
