The Windsor Ca store has ZERO cashiers. Customers are supposed to do that themselves at DIY kiosks. Fun doing THAT with a cart full of oddball hardware, eh?? But that's the only way offered so we tried. Problem came when I tried to use a 10% off coupon HD had mailed me. The kiosk had no instructions for that. So we asked the HD person who was "watching" over these kiosks for help. She scanned the coupon and proclaimed that the discount had been taken into account in the total, although no such detail was shown on the printed receipt. Well, when I got home, I looked up the prices and found that no 10% discount had been given. I called the store today and they told me I had to come back to the store to cancel and re-enter the transaction. That store is 50 miles away! "Sorry, can't help you!" was their clueless answer. And that was that. So, HD: Please have at least one "regular' check-out lane always available! Its SOO much easier shopping at ACE, honestly..... And Amazon!!!
And Best Buy!

Mind you this is the second time in a month and I don’t complain the first time. I was given a pick up time for my order, 2 hours after the pickup window my guy was still waiting there and had to leave. When I called customer service to sort it out they put me on hold twice and then promptly hung up on me twice. Make sure you get a name or it doesn’t count. If I tell a Client I’ll be somewhere and then don’t show up I have to answer for it, Home Depot dosnt care. At the time I’m writing this I’m at 5 hours spent getting my money back and absolutely not ‘getting more done’ with this place. Contractors beware.

I visited the Windsor store instead of Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park because they had the items in stock. On arrival I could not find the insulation that appeared online. A Hone Depot associate was called and he found the palette on top of the rack and proceeded to get it down. He even loaded the 20 rolls onto my cart an assisted me to the checkout line. Thanks David, you're the type of employee they need more of. Hoping you advance and pass along your caring nature to others.

The service was excellent. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely return. We ordered everything we needed in advance. When we showed up the order was ready.

What can I say, it's Home Depot. Understaffed and overworked people. They do honor veterans with a 10% discount which is helpful for those of us living on fixed income.

I've ordered online and since this is the closest to my sons house this is the location we deal with. On a few occasions we are told a delivery date even had phone calls from the associate on which date my items will be delivered. I have had my son take work off. Then wait all day and the items never show up they get bumped til the following week. So frustrating wasted time.
The people on the phones are so rude too. Bad communication and no transparency.

The Santa Rosa store has a unfortunately very poor pedestrian walkway. You ask for some guidance and they just ignore you. They answer in a bad way saying it is what it is. They have no character to understand a person nor the necessary training to be there.

I normally have no issues with HD but one of their employees completely blew me off when I asked about some chair cushions that online said had 64 on hand. Eventually, after searching their stock on my own, I found it and was able to convince another employee to have it dropped.

Shop there at least 3 times a week. Sometimes more sometimes less . Picking up repair supplies nice store clean nice people in the contractor sales department. Even bring a donut on a Friday . Good selection app just about 95% when we need. Good value I never seen to squawk about the price it is what it is.
