A week ago there website stated no appointments were necessary for the flu shot. Today I went in and was told they are understaffed and unable to do any walk-ins. Of course I wouldn't be upset about it but the way the employees handled the situation was berating and rude. This pharmacy is unorganized and understaffed and lesson learned not to have any prescriptions filled there.

This pharmacy is absolute garbage. I've been going here for years and I'm not even sure why. Every since time, it's a hassle. I think I have been reluctant to change pharmacies because it's such a hassle but after this last exchange, I am DONE! There was one incident when my insurance only covered 1 of 3 pills of a 3 day course of antibiotics. So they were just going to give me ONE. I told them I'd pay out of pocket for the other two and they told me I couldn't do that. I had to FIGHT to get my entire course of antibiotics that I was willing to pay out of pocket for . Then this last time, I called to check on a mediation for my son b/c the insurance company hadn't authorized the coverage yet. They said "let me check on that, hang on". They placed me on hold for an eternity, then the call started ringing again and went to voicemail. So I called back and they picked up the phone, and immediately placed it on hold without saying a word. They did this 10 times! I called the store manager and he said the pharmacy had been closed for the last hour even though I was just talking to someone 15 minute ago. I don't know what is going on over there but it's a complete shit show. I have more stories than that but I think I'll leave it at that for now. So embarrassing! Worst customer service ever.

Am a regular shopper at this location, so I was dismayed when I found a cod worm in a fillet I recently purchased. Disappointing to have to pay so much for such an unappetizing experience. Will definitely not purchase again!

Safeway is my go to market for my big shopping days. 5 stars today! Why?! They had all the items and then some that I needed. Also I was behind only one person at the register and was through so quickly o was amazed! Not every time is like that but today 5 stars all the way around

Very understaffed. Not organized and a little dirty. A little disappointed how far down hill this Safeway has gone. HR dept may need to step up their game and get some more employees.

I strongly do not recommend this. I have had numerous issues regarding getting my medications filled. Most recently they told me my medication would be ready at 9:15am, knowing they're slow I went in at 11 and they said it still wasn't ready and they'd call me when it was ready, another hour they promised. I waited two and called at which point they said they didn't have the medication on hand and I'd have to wait until Monday for them to order it (it was Friday) and the medication would not be ready until Wednesday. I had to go to the doctors office to get some of the medication they had on hand.

I received a text message at 1:03 pm saying my prescription is ready. I arrived at the location at 1:20 pm and the pharmacy worker said they are closed for lunch from 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm. They need to add hours to the text messaging system to prevent wasting people's time.

Do not go to this pharmacy unless you absolutely have to. I have a nerve disorder requiring special medication and on two occasions now they have marked my medications as picked up and refilled when I never picked them up. I understand this is a commonly abused drug but if anything that means they should be more careful with tracking if it has actually been picked up. Both times the pharmacy was sure I picked these meds up, even suggesting that I picked them up somewhere else when I asked for proof and they couldn't find it. The problem is, when they do this and mark my medication as picked up then I can't actually get it without going to my doctor again and getting him to write to them because they are so stubborn. Again, I understand they don't want people abusing the drug, but they don't even understand how it keeps happening. I fill the prescription, never get a call, then they tell me someone already picked it up when I finally reach out. It's exhausting and this second time has resulted in almost a month without my medication while they point fingers and continue to make mistakes. I have never experienced this at any other pharmacy. I will be changing pharmacies ASAP but as long as it's marked as picked up here I can't refill anywhere else either so it's still a hassle. If you have health issues requiring medication, please for your safety, avoid this place like the plague.

Shout out to Anthony in the meat/seafood department! Was looking forward to my first crab of the season, but didn't see any staff behind the counter. A voice from the frozen meat section asked if he could help. Anthony stepped up and selected a great meaty crab for me and it was on sale. Thanks Anthony!

I will not shop in the Windsor Safeway again. I have never experienced any store with worse customer service, rude employees and untrained, uninformed employees who don't care if you shop there or not. They aren't smart enough to realize that my shopping there helps pay their wages. duh........ The "Store Director" is a rude joke. The store is dirty as well. There is too much competition to put up with this type of shopping environment and experience..

I have always had great customer service with all the employees at the pharmacy. They recently helped me navigate workers comp paying for my meds. Sometimes the lines are long/move slow but I don't know if it's the customer needing extra attention or someone working slower than normal.

Healdsburg used to have the worst safeway. Now that trophy goes to windsor. The reason healdsburg was so shitty was cause of d*uchebag Guerin was the store manager then they shitcanned him and he just keeps somehow getting his position back now managing windsor. You must be really good at sucking Bob off Guerin.

Terrible customer service. My elderly parents were there to get their second COVID vaccine and were treated very poorly. They ended up going to RITE AID to get it. They had a completely different experience there. Highly recommend RIDE AID.

I made an appointment a week in advance for a shingles vaccine. When I arrived at the assigned time, the pharmacist said she never looks at the appointments...and she could not give me the vaccine for at least two more hours! So, Safeway Pharmacy in Windsor, why do you have us make appointments if you are not going to even look at the log? Wow. Also, I mentioned the Affordable Care Act to the pharmacist at Safeway, and she said she had never heard of it. OMG, really? That's the federal law that mandates certain preventative treatments are covered by all insurance, and the shingles vaccine is one of them. Seriously a federal law that has had a dramatic effect on your industry...and you have never even heard of it? OMG again. I walked across the parking lot to CVS Pharmacy, waited just five minutes, and got my free, ACA-covered Shingrex vaccine. I will only go to CVS from now on, and will move my prescriptions there as well.
