I hope you enjoy waiting for 20 minutes while successive waves of incompetent employees say they will ring someone to help you then leave. Go anywhere else first...

Robert was so helpful when my Grandma and I went in to buy a bathroom vanity! He took his time finding what we needed and calling another store that had it in stock. Thank you for being so helpful.

The service of this Home Depot disappoints me every time I try to get something from them it always seems like a hassle and they really should get retraining in customer service I won't be coming back.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Home Depot's curbside service. I've placed four curbside orders in the past, and this time was by far the worst. Unfortunately, due to a disability, I'm unable to lift heavy items myself, which is why I rely on curbside pickup. The trouble began with the supposed app that is designed to notify the store when I arrive. On the first two occasions, the app failed to work, forcing me to call the store for assistance. Despite this inconvenience, I gave it another try during my most recent order. This time, the app worked, but even after notifying them of my arrival, no one came out to assist me.I decided to call the store, and a representative informed me that there was no one available to help at the moment but assured me that a manager was addressing the situation. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting for 45 minutes without any progress. Tried to call several more times but no one answered the phone. During this time, I witnessed an employee bringing carts outside repeatedly, but my order seemed to be neglected.Growing frustrated, I made the decision to enter the store and discuss the matter with an assistant manager at the returns counter. To my relief, this manager was proactive and quickly organized assistance to bring out my order. However, throughout this interaction, there was a distinct lack of apology or even a simple expression of gratitude for my patience. In light of this experience, I am determined to provide feedback to Home Depot. I believe it's crucial for them to understand the issues their customers face, especially when relying on curbside service. My intent is to highlight the repeated app failures, the prolonged wait time, and the lack of assistance that I encountered. In doing so, I hope my feedback will contribute to improvements in their curbside service and prevent others from undergoing similar frustrations in the future. However, will not be shopping there anymore. Ace Hardware and Garretts may have higher prices but the customer service is at least there.

I recently received an email confirming an order my wife and I had previously placed for some artificial grass for our backyard at home that was ready for pick-up at the above referenced store. I made arrangements with our landscaper to meet me at the Windsor store at 10:00 AM (all times listed are pacific time) today, as he has a truck and would be able to transport the material to my home and deliver it accordingly. The email from Home Depot I received indicated to check in at the customer service desk, which I did, and spoke to Lawanda, who was the employee who waited on me. She verified that my order was ready and already paid for and then phoned a member of their staff to arrange to have the merchandise brought to the loading area so we could have it loaded into my landscaper's truck. After approximately 20 minutes of waiting, I checked back with employee Lawanda and she apologized for the delay and said she would phone for assistance again. A few minutes later, she said I could go back to the loading area and that someone would be with me shortly. I went back to the loading area and waited patiently. After approximately 15-20 minutes of waiting, I re-contacted Lawanda at the customer service desk and told her that no one had responded to the loading area to assist us. In the meantime, my landscaper had also contacted another member of the staff there and explained the situation to that person but yet received no assistance. I went back and spoke to Lawanda again and asked her if anyone was going to bring my artificial grass to the loading area and she again apologized for the delay in my receiving no further assistance. She made a phone call to request help for my inquiry and then told me that to move the merchandise, it would require a forklift and they only had two forklift operators working at the moment and they would have to wait for one to become available. I told Lawanda that I would go back to the loading area and wait again and she told me it should hopefully not be much longer. At approximately 11:25 AM, no member of the staff had arrived to assist me so I went back to the customer service desk and spoke to Lawanda yet again to ask her what the status of my artificial grass was and she made another call to a member of staff and was told that apparently the artificial grass I was waiting to pick up was tangled with one of their light fixtures at the top of one of their storage displays and there were employees attempting to get the problem resolved. I told Lawanda that I would have to leave, as my landscaper was being delayed unnecessarily because of the staff's inability to bring my purchase to the loading area and this process had now taken an hour and a half of both my time and my landscaper's time, of which now I would be paying for out of my own pocket. I would also now have to make arrangements to come back at a later date to pick up this merchandise which I should have easily been able to pick up today. My landscaper had other projects going on today so I told him to go ahead and leave so I wasn't causing him further unnecessary delay. I left my name and telephone number with Lawanda and asked her to have someone call me if or when they were able to prepare my artificial grass for pick-up. I then thanked her for her time and help and left the store along with my landscaper so he could get on with his day.At approximately 11:50 AM, I received a telephone call from Lawanda at the Home Depot store in Windsor and she said the staff were able to get the artificial grass I had purchased prepared for pick-up and were going to send it to the loading area. By that time, I had left the store. I explained to her that I would like her to note that I waited for approximately 90 minutes along with my landscaper and although she was very helpful, the level of customer service during this experience today was very poor. No one, with the exception of Lawanda, expressed any sense of urgency to help me. I am generally not one to complain much, but I have to say this was one of the worst experiences

Spent thousands of dollars on bathroom remodel. They screwed up my order and won’t stand behind it. If you have to work and are unmotivated apply at Home Depot.the favorite saying “I don’t work in that department “ or they must be out to lunch “. I will never step foot again in a Home Depot store.#Bad Service

I am generally really happy with the service I get at this location. Members actually want to help but today it was near impossible. The website said they had the lumber I was looking for but when I went, no one could find it. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

I was looking for something that the website showed they had more inventory and the shelf was near bare. I asked three different people for help which was a chore in itself and the last person said they were the correct person and they would be with me in a bit. After a half hour waiting I gave up. I was doing other shopping but then I was asked to move so someone could get through with equipment. If you don't want me in the store that's fine. I don't need to be there.

I went into the store today to buy replacement lightbulbs for our driveway lights. Our old ones were a brand Home Depot doesn't carry so I had a picture of the type I needed. As I was unable to find the product, I had an employee call for help. I waited 5-10 minutes. No one came. I spoke with a different employee, they made a call for help. Again, waited the 5-10 minutes. No one came. Neither employee I spoke with offered to help me themselves, either. I left the store without getting what I needed. I drove to a hardware store in town, was greeted as I came in, got help and was out the door in a matter of minutes.

I have been shopping at the Windsor Home Depot for quite a while because it's the only major hardware store in the area where I live. Everytime I go there, I take a deep breath and hope my experience will be a good one. However, they never fail to make my experience a negative one. The customer service people at the main entrance do not know the definition of customer service. I walked in and asked where the battery recycling was located, the girl did not look up from her computer and raised her arm to point backwards at the location. In fact, I said, "great customer service". The clerks at the garden department are on their personal devices constantly, with the exception of when a customer arrives. Today, again, I was dropping of batteries and I picked up two items to purchase. I walked to the garden department because that location is usually the quickest. It was closed. So I walked all the way back to the middle of the store only to see numerous closed check out locations and a line of about 10 people for the self check out. I put my two items down and walked out of the store. If they are going to encourage self check out, then least have enough stations. Or if they are so busy at certain times then maybe the management staff should get their butts and open a register or two. I'm sure they're capable. After my visit, I called to store and was transferred by a computer generated voice to a line that rang about 30 times, no one answered. So I hung up and called back and spoke with an agent and she made excuses, like we can't hire anybody, if there's a self check out station it has to be" guarded". Guarded? What, is this San Quentin? After she went on and on with excuses I asked to speak with a manager. She transferred me and the call was dropped. What a surprise. This location needs help, lots of help.

We had a wonderful experience working with Kathleen A (Kathy) at the Windsor Home Depot's Kitchen Design Department. We wanted to add a kitchenette to a room of our house and had no idea where to start. Kathy was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, warm, and patient with us during the whole process -- from brainstorming and figuring out the best cabinet/countertop arrangement to maximize the small space we were working with, to helping us select suitable cabinetry, helping us place the order itself, and ensuring the pick-up process was smooth. Kathy really took a situation that could have been stressful and taken a lot of our time, and made it quick and painless - a true feat! We are incredibly grateful!
