Wise Acre Farms is a sweet little farm perfect for a visit. It features goats, chickens, ducks, geese, and adorable silkie chickens. The farm is very small but friendly, making it highly recommended for toddlers, who can enjoy feeding the goats and may even pet a chicken. Visitors can use the goat food dispensers or bring their own goat-friendly foods. It is also a favorite place to get farm fresh chicken and duck eggs from an extremely convenient vending machine, an ingenious and fun way to buy eggs. The eggs are high quality, fresh, tasty, and stocked daily. The farmers are friendly and transparent about animal care. While the chicken flock is sometimes smaller and eggs can sell out, the farm is worth visiting any time. There is a picnic table for those who wish to bring lunch. The vending machine takes credit cards only, though it may occasionally be out of service with regular pick-up times available instead.
I love buying eggs from Wise Acre! Not only are they pasture raised , they also come in a variety of sizes at very reasonable prices. Good quality. The owners are great. And Windsor is lucky to have such a wonderful local business. They have a vending machine for eggs and helpful instructions on how to use it.
