Terrible. After I moved a lot of stuff was missing and broken...I only moved about 20 miles.Calls to them were worthless.I did manage to retrieve a valuable mirror after threatening to stop payment.I checked the back of the truck before they left & it was empty. They must have brought a 2nd truck & off loaded some stuff before arriving at my new place.Among the missing was a large box of personal papers. This was almost 7 years ago.Since then I've had 4 episodes of identity theft and large fraudulent charges-just yesterday another $1300.I truly believe it's a result of their theft.Do not use under any circumstance!!!

My mother and I hired this company to do our move just this past week and they did a terrible job! Movers BEWARE of this company! Not all was our furniture damaged but the movers took forever to move our items. A job that should have taken 2-4 hours max took an entire 8 hours! The movers damaged a newly painted ceiling when they moved my sons mattress and hit the ceiling fan into the ceiling. In addition, one mover smelled like weed and took multiple cigarette breaks around all of our furniture. When we called to inform the company about this, their boss Jamie - sent us a lengthy form to fill out that has to be sent to an out of state mailing address for review....total nonsense! We sent pictures the day of to prove that items were damaged and that they took way too much time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will overspend and risk damage to your belongings.

BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. I employed Acclaimed Movers to transport my 3000 sq.ft. home, of antique furnishings, clothes, vintage blankets, linens, dishes, duvets etc. as well as everything else in a home...down filled high end sofa's, expensive mattress', household items as vacuum cleaner, kitchen equipment pots, pans, juicers, espresso coffee maker etc. Everything in my home was stored in their warehouse. My move was scheduled from So.California (coming from their warehouse) and moving my belongings to Northern California on December 12, 2019. They asked me to pay in advance. When they arrived, they forced me to sign the contract that we are accepting that everything has been moved to our new location. They said that if I did not sign this document, they would not unload the truck. They began to bring out other peoples belongings on our driveway. We said to the guys, this is not our furniture! We felt scared, when the mover said, this is what they put on the truck for your move. In the middle of the truck to back, they began to pull out our things, filthy dirty, dirty unwrapped mattress', broken antiques including 3 armoire's, broken chandeliers from the 1920's, hand woven vintage rugs arrived with rat droppings and rodent holes, as we viewed this nightmare. When the truck was emptied, our beloved antique 10' long farm table (in our family for 40 years) was not on the truck. Also, not unloaded, pillows, linens, blankets, child's antique desk, black leather 8' ottoman, fireplace tools, and vintage blanket collection, antique quilt collection. While the 3 movers were at our residence and claimed they knew nothing, I called the Acclaimed office, and spoke to the manager. She said I would have to speak to the owner about our missing, broken and lost items! The 'owner of Acclaimed Movers us called 3 days later, and began the conversation with "what can I do for you?" The conversation went down from there. He refused to acknowledge our things were lost, missing and damaged. The next week, the office manager E-mailed a picture of our farm table, sitting in their warehouse and I identified it. She said the owner had not approved the transport for our table to be sent to us. 3 months later, February, 2020, I hired a separate moving company to pick up my antique table and bring it to us. The rest of our things that were lost and missing were never brought to us. The owner of Acclaimed Movers instructed the office manager to 'not speak to us' when we called. To date there has never been an apology, or promise to find our things and reimburse us. .

This company is awful and don't trust what they tell you because they quoted me a price of $775 for my move and charged me $1065 and refuse to answer my calls back and it's just not ok to rip people off like they did. Don't use acclaimed moverdont trust this company they are not honest and will overcharge you and just refuse to do right by their word . I hav a locked in price I had to agree to prior to my move to assure I paid the price I was told so I signed it and at the end of the move I had to sign in person but it was way more then what I was told or agreed to and the mover supervisor kept the receipt so I had nothing to prove what happened. They know how to be corrupt and refused to make anything right and just don't return my call so they refuse to even try . Not a good idea to use this company and I really trusted them. It really broke me .

Sign me up for any class action lawsuit. This mover sucks. Do not use if you're moving cross-country. They were extraordinarily late, were horrible with communication, and broke and lost thousands of dollars of my stuff.

One star is incredibly generous here..... This poor excuse of a company completely VIOLATED MY LIFE. This was by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE a human could have. They showed up ready to load our things, both movers looked like shady. My boyfriend pulled me aside because he felt incredibly uncomfortable with these two men loading our things. Unfortunately, we were in a dire situation & had no other option. Upon talking to the movers, we began to chat w/the pair & we felt more comfortable. Our things were loaded 6 hours later & our travels began. Long story short, we moved from LA to the Mid-West. It took us nearly THREE MONTHS to get our entire home back. Bills paid for 3 months without ever feeling like we were settled, at home, in a totally new city & environment. They always gave me a run around when I called. Good luck ever speaking to a supervisor! *scoff, choke, die* When we finally got the news our belongings were on the way, I learned from a SUB CONTRACTOR. NOT THE COMPANY!!! They took our things from a warehouse in a moving truck. TRANSFERRED them into another truck not correlated to the company & then delivered. Oh! & they didn't feel the need to let me know about that minor detail. ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS HAD BEEN RUMMAGED THRU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My life, violated. All boxes of seeming importance, were sliced open. Things were missing, including items from my recently deceased great grandmother. Which their claim process is a s*** show & complete joke to pursue. I AM OWED over $500, for their EXTREME tardiness in delivering the majority of belongings. & they REFUSE to return my calls. DO NOT USE!!!!!!

This company is something out of a horror movie. I was having a bodykit for my car delivered on a truck. The truck had scheduled the drop off for 2pm (cant remember exact time but around then) and my part was to get a forklift and forklift driver to get the bodykit off the truck. I called this company and they offered me a forklift, a forklift driver, and a team of movers for the day. I told them I only needed the one forklift driver for an hour at most since it was just one pallet, they informed me that there was a 3 hour minimum and I agreed. The person delivering and driving the forklift was over FIVE HOURS LATE! Because he was five hours late I ended up having to bride the driver of the truck with 120 dollars to stay till he arrived. When he arrived, instead of apologizing for being late and getting the damn bodykit off the truck so the driver could leave, he made me sign a series of contract first (which he obviously was not prepared for as he had to make several calls to verify things). This lasted about 30 minutes. Come to find out that the contract was not for the agreed upon amount but about $500 more than we talked about (they had changed it to a 6 hour minimum). I tried to argue but I ended up having to pay because, once again, I had already kept the truck driver five hours past and needed the bodykit off the truck now because the truck drivers next stop was in Texas. So basically they LIED about the price, showed up ridiculously LATE, and made me sign a contract under DURESS. P.S. Topping on the cake. When their guy finally arrived I found out he was a N*** based on his multiple swastika tattoos and hitler as his phone screen...

Beware!! These guys were hired to take all our items to the port of Los Angeles to be shipped to Hawaii. They took our things directly to a storage unit in Chatsworth until we paid full price for the move. They (along with Door to Door Van Lines) said if we used a different company we'd owe them $3200 in "storage fees". Also, the day they took our things, no one could explain questions we had about the multi page contract that we had to sign in several places, and couldn't move anything until we did so. We were encouraged to choose the least amount of insurance since we had "nothing to worry about" and we ended up having thousands of dollars worth of damage when we finally received our items. They tried charging us more than our quote for packing materials, and after waiving them we were told we had better tip the guys well since we weren't paying the extra fees. Awful experience.

Acclaimed has had so MANY bad reviews that many had to be taken off. Just finished taking this terrible company to Small Claims Court and I was awarded a judgment. I can't believe the guy who represented the company in court LIED through his teeth, and also submitted a FALSE email from the arbitration company they are affiliated with. Hard to believe a business like this still exists, but I guess they prey on those who don't first read reviews (I am one of those) and who are looking for the least expensive moving company. You get what you pay for, but watch out because they will cheat you if you don't insist on making them include in the contract a "NOT TO EXCEED" clause for the amount of the quote. They even breached the contract with that clause included, but my credit card company investigated, read the contract, and reimbursed my money. This was one of the things they LIED about in court. Shameful people in the moving business.

These guys were the worst! They did not show up to pick up the furniture on the promised pickup date they missed it by a day). They mischarged my credit card on the day of pickup by charging the full amount of the move instead of the contracted amount of 50% on pickup and 50% on delivery. They missed their committed delivery duration of 24 calendar days (it took 66 calendar days). They lost four big items (family heirloom claw foot vanity which had been in the family for 100 years, two large rugs, one large TV Stand). Their customer service is horrible because of at least 30 broken promises to get back to me on move status and missing item status (I called/emailed them approximately 35 times and they returned my call/email just one time). The only reason they get even one star is because I only had one item broken or damaged in the move.

This place is the worst!! I have been calling for months and am getting no where! I get someone on the phone tell them my issue and I get told I will get a call back within the day. No call. Ever. I have 2 vaults with them and they have somehow lost one. They have also lost my washer, dryer and dining room table. They are nowhere to be found. I am still paying as if all those things are there. I have been trying to get this resolved for over a year!!! Don't ever use this place. Not worth the aggravation. Maybe now I will get a call back

Clean their truck. They put our light colored furniture in the truck and now we deep dirt stains on the furniture because they slid the furniture on the dirt of the truck. Bring their own tools and bring wardrobe boxes for clothes. The promised us enough boxes and only brought 3 without rods to hang the clothes. The were 6 hours late. I wish I had read these reviews before calling them. As they say live and learn. I hope you read these reviews and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
