“Great experience and awesome price with the College Hunks. DJ, the coordinator, was very professional, patient and knowledgeable. He knew the right questions to ask but also was very mindful of my time. He sincerely was interested in my moving problem. He sent two very strong, friendly and respectful guys, Dylan and Harry to get pictures for a proper estimate within an hour of my call. The price they quoted was the best price I received while shopping around (I contacted 3 other places in and around my city Porter Ranch). It included very large/heavy items: recliner couch, love seat, 2 tv consoles, full sized wood bed frame, and two dressers. It was also guaranteed flat price, so no surprises. The guys were so fast and efficient that the whole thing took less than an hour, including some disassembly and a set of stairs! And they treated me like a friend they just made that needed help. So lucky I found them! Highly recommend!”

Leading up to the move he explained exactly what to expect, the timeline, and how we should prepare. Several days before the move Ted called to check in with us and reconfirm. The day of the move the crew showed up perfectly on time and were extremely communicative. They took great care to make sure things were packed and labeled and organized. The day of the move went smooth and they even helped us configure our new home. Overall I could not be more pleased and will recommend them to any and everyone I know.”

“Great professional company, great straightforward communication, no beating around the bush or stipulations and what ifs, it was simple and direct, no hidden fees or hidden costs with refrigerators or other heavy items. The actual move was EASY, as simple and easy as it can be on a person. They did everything, packing and wrapping the big stuff, loaded boxes, nothing and I say NOTHING was damaged, they took care of my stuff as they said they would. In an abundance of caution, they showed me stuff that had some wear and tear and they wanted to be clear about existing damage, again very thorough and up front. “UPDATE: Sam from Kobe moving reached out to me to make things right. He handled the $50 deposit and refunded some of the costs of the moving supplies. Didn’t expect him to reach out and appreciate the company working on keeping customers happy.
I used Kobe moving to just load a PODS container for me. I was originally quoted $139/hr 3 hr minimum for 3 movers. Should have been fine to get that done in that time. I also asked about moving supplies and asked if it would be cheaper for me just to source, and he assured me they could handle it and would keep it cheap. The move went fine. They ended up taking about 4 hrs, would have loved to finish in 3 but fine. They then charged me $500 for moving supplies. I did need to keep some moving blankets since I was putting everything in the pod and storing it, but over $500 for some TV boxes, tape, bubble wrap and used furniture blankets is crazy. I did tip the movers cause they were good enough. After the fact I remembered that they also charged me a $50 deposit that never was credited against. So what amounted to about $1200, should have been a $700 1 bed POD loading. Just be careful if you use them and get all costs up front.”
“We had 3 movers, they were great! Very efficient and careful with our items. One of our TVs were damaged, so that was upsetting.. I'd suggest a 4th helper next time for a small apartment. We can get the job done in less than 8 hours perhaps. But overall efficient service. We were able to get the TV replaced by RC Moving as an exception to their policy. Thanks for rectifying this issue!”
“Moving is always nerve-wracking. I was moving long distance out of state, and have had several horrible experiences with other movers. Naturally, I was extremely hesitant to take the step and hire any mover-- but Presto was the best decision I made. They were completely professional, and executed my 1200 mile move perfectly. What stood out most about Presto is that they are an actual DOT licensed motor carrier, they're not a broker that bids long-distance jobs out to a random trucker line like of the most movers out there. They do EVERYTHING in house with their own trucks and their own drivers. The drivers were extremely polite, careful, and helpful. Most importantly, nothing was broken, nothing was lost, and nothing was damaged. Thank you to Henry, plus Martin the foreman in CA, and Guardaro and Humberto the long distance crew. Each and every one of them made my move a breeze!”
