Imperial Date Gardens is a seasonal business located at 1304 York Road, Winterhaven, CA, near their former site. During the months from September to March, they sell fresh Medjool dates and offer a variety of products like date shakes, date bread, raw dates, fruits, nuts, and hot tamales. Visitors find the dates to be the best in the Yuma Valley, with great prices, especially in January after the holiday rush. The location is also a nice place to ask questions, see the beautiful date palms, and purchase gift sets to send home. Although currently no shakes or tamales are available, the store remains a popular spot for dates and related products.

I love this place, the dates are like candy for adults! A 2 lb. box makes a great gift and the nut stuffed chocolate covered dates at the till for 1.25 each are the best 1.25 I've ever spent! Cash only is great to see!
