About Berryessa Gap Vineyards Downtown Tasting Room
Berryessa Gap Vineyards Downtown Tasting Room is conveniently located on Main Street in Winters, near many popular restaurants. The tasting room is very nicely designed with a simple elegance. It offers a 5 wine Estate tasting to enjoy every day throughout the afternoon, with tasting fees waived with bottle purchase. There is no membership fee. The various varietals are very good, with generous pours. Everything is fantastic, with the Tempranillo noted as a favorite. The wines are very great and delicious. The business offers wine by the glass and bottle, with a good choice of charcuterie boards as a nice addition for appetizers. It provides a new outdoor dining experience, and inside dining is also currently available. The service is top notch. All the workers are super nice, helpful, friendly, welcoming, and lovely to visit with, providing a wonderful tasting experience. The ambiance is amazing, making for a fun time. Visitors describe it as a very cute little wine tasting place and note they will definitely be repeat customers.
Beautiful tasting room with indoor and outdoor areas to hang out. We were there on a Saturday night and Bridget was so friendly and great to chat with. Right on the main street where the city had open mic with some great bands and acts. We had the petit verdot (tasty) and malbec (pretty good).

Made an impromptu visit to the tasting room on a random Thursday. I had never had the wines before. Everything I tried was fantastic and I walked out with 6 bottles and a membership. The wines are very great and I will definitely be a repeat customer. The server/hostess was so nice and welcoming.
