We were a last-minute big group, and the manager made it happen. It was amazing. The carbonara was one of the best I've ever had! My friends also enjoyed the short rib, burger and sole. We had two small children and the restaurant was great about it. And the lemon semifreddo was delicious!

Preserve has a beautiful patio area. Our waiter promptly took orders for drinks and appetizers. The Love Affair cocktail was passion fruit and rum , sooo good ! The Mumm bubbly served from a single. serve bottle , opened in front of you , and the red sangria was perfect . We enjoyed the fried chicken, perfectly crispy and not greasy at all . The burger and the pulled pork sandwich were also really good. Do not miss dessert .The chocolate Sundae is scrumptious!

The Preserve is a lovely treat in Winters. Their cocktails and food are amazing. If you same some room get dessert! Their semifreddo is unreal!

Preserve in Winters, CA, is this esthetically trendy spot with quality dishes that elevate your dining experience. It's not your usual steak-and-Mac-and-cheese joint; they bring sophistication to their ingredients and additions. My chicken sandwich was a burst of flavors, striking the perfect balance for a medium spice lover like me. The Mac and cheese was an explosion of creamy cheese with a generous sprinkle of bacon - a tasty balance of saltiness and crunch. Let's talk desserts - as a self-proclaimed dessert-before-dinner enthusiast, cheesecake stole the show. The caramelized torched sugar on top added a satisfying crunch and a hint of bitterness, making it a dessert lovers dream. And my sister tried the lemon-flavored frozen custard, (I believe) a creamy mouthful of deliciousness that left us both impressed. If you find yourself in Winters, take a stroll and dine here, especially in late spring when the wisteria is in full bloom, creating a beautiful setting for their outdoor seating. Big thanks for the lunch and dessert - we'll definitely be back!

Cocktails are delicious. The jalapeño cheese starter is really nice too. But main meals were only fine and did not reflect the pricing. Additionally the service, whilst friendly, was incredibly inattentive to the point that I didn't manage to order a drink the entire time we were there. Very poor. Would benefit from more substance , less wankery.

I wish I could say something about the food and a lot less about the attitude of the people that work there . From the moment of arriving on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in winters, we were greeted by a smug little girl with oversize glasses . It a beautiful restaurant, except for the fact that she decided she wanted to seat us waaaaaaaaay in the back.. Oh my God . Like in the back, back. Like we might as well not have been in the restaurant. We told her thank you but no, thank you didn’t about face and left.

My sister & I came here last week around 4:30pm on a Thur. We chose to sit at the bar. Curtis came by and took our drink order. I decided to try the Blue Note Blood on the tracks beer $8 which was pretty good. My sister got their Sangria $13 which I tasted, and LOVED!! We decided to share an order of Brussel Sprouts $11, which were quite yummy! We also got the Crab Cake $34, which was good but quite pricey for just one. We shared an order of their BNS Risotto & added Scallops $42 which was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious!! Curtis did a great job checking on us from time to time.

"Have a good one!" And we did after we went next-door to eat at Chuy's because the customer service at The Preserve left us completely wanting. It was a beautiful restaurant, except for the fact that she decided she wanted to take us for the walk down the long Green, mile to put us in the back away from all the other patrons. Passed up every beautifully, well lit and decorated booth to set us in a corner next to the kitchen like we were the help. don't worry about the food, not if it comes with a side of mismanagement and a huge helping of discriminatory behavior. Won't be returning after this experience

I’m a little divided because I heard good reviews and had high expectations from this place. After $160 the best part was the $7 fries. But the place was cute but the food was just not good, specially our steak which ranged from well done on one end to rare on the other.

We love Preserve! I had been wanting to try this spot for years, and we went on a whim. We started with a Moscow Mule and Amaretto Sour. We got the Mac & Cheese appetizer, and the Reuben Sandwich & Steak Frites entrees. EVERYTHING was fabulous. So tasty, we'll balanced, and we'll seasoned. The atmosphere is hip and very comfortable. The staff is very welcoming, thorough and know exactly what they're doing. We will 1000% be coming back!!
