If you live in the rural areas of Yolo or Solano county and require fast and reliable internet, Cal/Net/Winters Broadband is the best in the area. Ian and Jeff, are excellent at getting you set up and answering any questions you may have.

I need good quality internet services at our rural home and Winters Broadband does a good job of providing them. I have used them for over 10 years and like them.

My internet is glitching again, so I'm posting a rant review. I pay $144 per month for 12mbps of internet, an amount I increased due to COVID and working from home, and right now I have 2mbps download speed. This happens quite often, usually on the weekends when there is nobody to answer the phone, but sometimes on the weekdays when I rely on the internet for work and school. One thing that really put me off was that my bill remained the same during the fire evacuation and week long power outage... my internet was literally unusable and Winters Broadband still charged me the exact same amount "because it's in the contract language that nobody reads and is ethically questionable but their lawyers can argue it in court, if anyone ever takes it that far." Way to look out for the community during troubled times, Winters Broadband.

Called to inquire about getting WiFi to a property, the woman I talked to was incredibly rude and condescending. I was just looking for a reason to why it couldn't be installed and I was met with a short, aggressive tone. I have never written a review before, but I was so shocked by how unprofessional and unkind this lady was to me that I felt compelled to warn others. Avoid these people, try Omsoft or Hughesnet for professional and kind customer service jfc

They are trying, and are responsive. Very pricy for what you get, but "beggers can't be choosers" when one lives in the country... Jeff goes out of his way to be helpful. Speed is average, but not poor. The overall review is 3 stars, but up to 4 secondary to Jeff's help...

Still have terrible service, lose signal on rainy and foggy days starting to think about trying satellite, it's almost 2020 and we still have garbage internet in the rural united stated I lived in a 3rd world country that had wireless internet in rural area that worked better than this lousy service does. Wish there was a better option available that force these guys to either step it up or concede.

this could quite possibly be the worst internet connection worldwide. we get internet for ten minutes before it shuts down completely for about an hour. as of the date of posting this review (8/19/19) we have had absolutely awful connection speeds/connection for two and a half weeks. we have ran multiple speed tests on different websites and they all come out terrible. we can't stream, play games, and sometimes, we can't even connect. WHAT SO EVER. you would think for an internet company, they would ACTUALLY provide internet. I would definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. i can't wait until we get new internet.

For this past year this service has delivered almost flawlessly. We are getting what was promised and it seems that they are executing very well. They had some troubles a year or so ago, but they have bounced back nicely and the service itself is excellent. Their worthless managed router costs them a star, but otherwise - good stuff!
