What a treat! This place is a beautifully kept botanical garden filled with flowers, tree fruit and vegetables. There's even a cactus and succulent garden that was just built! They allow you to pick and eat fruit while on the grounds and there's some grass area that we ate our packed lunch on. This is our second time- first was in July . It was very hot but there was far more fruit (stone fruit and berries) during that time. Still such a nice outdoor outing and it's free! Such a nice service for Woodlake and surrounding communities. Only negative worth planning for is there doesn't seem to be bathroom facilities available. There looks to be one in parking area but it was gated up. Plan ahead!

A very nice place to take a walk and look at nature. The plus side was there was no price for admission. It was a little confusing about help yourself to the fruit but then mention don't take it out of the park. I guess they just want you to consume it while you're there. We did have a nice time strolling through the area and it made a very pleasant outing.

Omg, toured the Woodlake Botanical Garden this morning. Met Manuel and Olga Jimenez who are in charge of the gardens. All I can say is AMAZING!! You can even eat the fruit. I highly recommend anyone to come and see it and bring your walking shoes and a hat. It's open on Thursday Friday and Saturdays 9am-3pm

I absolutely adored this hidden gem! My boyfriend and I were driving to Sequoia from Kings Canyon and there were a lot of road closures so we ended up taking a longer road. I'm so glad we did because we wouldn't have stopped by this gorgeous garden. He told me he found a surprise stop on the way and I was excited to see what it was. It was a downright delightful stop too. They're only opened a few days a week and I'm happy we happened to go on one of those days. There is a small parking lot out front and you're able to walk around the lake if you want. The roses are so lush and full! There were so many varieties. I had never seen some of them before. I felt like a Disney princess in this garden. The mountains in the background were especially stunning. I highly recommend checking out this cute garden. It's pretty small, so it's a great pit stop.

Hidden gem with 120+ different types of roses. 80 types of citrus. Check their Facebook page for the annual berry tasting on Saturday at end of May. Acres and acres of roses, blooming flowers, fruit trees and walking paths. All maintained by community volunteers. Just amazing. Acreage open a few days a week, but you can stroll thru several plots of roses at anytime.

Great place to relax. I wish the hours were extended to 5pm. Other than that it is a great place to sit down and relax. I would love to be to sit and read a book here.

The people working here are the nicest ever. Everyone here is in a good mood and strikes up friendly conversations. They gave me some fruit and the peaches were the best I've ever had. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous. They have all different types of flowers, trees, fruit and vegetables. It's a great place to go for a pick-me-up, or to just sit under a tree and meditate. I only wish they had a place to donate online!

What a beautiful garden that anybody can enjoy. The abundance of flowers, fruits, birds, sunshine or shade. Just a very magical place to spend a few hours eating some delicious fruit or pondering on life. But what makes this such a beautiful garden of Eden, is the lovely people that created it and work there. Thank u all so much for sharing all this beauty with us...

Never seen so many roses in one place. Beautiful area to enjoy and smell roses, they all smell different depending on their color. It's not inside the botanical garden, but at the trail where the entrance is at. Stop by for a min of you have a chance.

Lovely spot that was much bigger than I thought it would be. There's a westside garden that's outside the gate and the eastside is within. Westside flowers were drying out but still a decent area to walk around; their desert and drought-tolerant plants are in this section too. The more exotic, well-kept flowers and fruit trees are on the eastside. There's quite a variety and just when you think you've seen everything you find another section to go through. Lots of spots that are photo op-worthy with some gorgeous flowers. There's even a nice green on the far east end and multiple benches throughout the whole gardens to take a rest.Definitely a nice place to take a stroll through with family, friends, or significant others. Right by Bravo Lake too. Masks are required and they are currently open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Thursday through Sunday.
