The ABSOLUTE WORST bank with specifically the worst employees at this branch. Lara Adourian the supposed branch manager has questionable credentials based on her lack of awareness and consciousness. She did NOTHING but make my life complicated. She claimed to take certain actions to diffuse a situation that was BMO’s fault.. come to find out she’s a liar. Do not bank with them and if you have to, do not work with this location or any location Lara Adourian has any affiliation with.

They refused to cash my business check. I have a BMO business account. The company paying my business banks with BMO as well. They said the only option was to deposit the check and wait until next business day for availability. Chatsworth branch cashed my business check 3 days ago. I’m forced to drive to another city to cash first then deposit.Update: been a few days and today they gave me trouble withdrawing cash from my own account. Manager comes questioning me about the nature of my business for requesting less than a $500 withdrawal. Says “we’re going to give it to you this time” as the teller typed copious notes in my account.

When I first banked with them over 10 years ago they where the best. Reason why was that they were FDIC compliant. They actually cashed my Tax refund check with just my Ink Finger print ID, and stuff. Believe it or not no other banks would do that. So I opened an account with them with the money I cashed. Over two decades later, I call and have 1,000's in the bank. The person on the phone says they will give me nothing in a week or in 5 days. They will have someone reach out to me. At one point I applied for4 a 5,000k limit Credit card. Imagine at that time I only had 11,000 in the bank and soon a house free and clear worth near 100K.... They couldn't even approve me for the CC. I just want my money thats in the bank. It costs me money just to keep my money in the bank.... Imagine Even after I sign up for paperless to save a couple bucks a month- They Go back to paper statements..... Forget it. -> Just give me m y Fin money. I don't give to someone that charges me to keep it.

I would like to leave this review for whoever the lady manager is. Very rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't give her name or even try to help. She had the rudest looking facial expression I'm telling you if looks could kill hers would. I don't think this woman should even be running any type of company!!! I wouldn't use this bank or location!!!!!!

This bank is as incompetent as Wells Fargo is corrupt. Even when there is a short line at the tellers, you can end up waiting a half hour because their computer systems are so antiquated and slow and subject to glitches. There is never any effort at this bank to do business in a timely manner.

This has got to be the worst bank ever. I came in to withdrawal money and it wasn't a significant amount I was told that they don't have cash. I work at a bank and I know that branches have limits to how much cash they must keep on hand. I understand if I was withdrawing a large amount of cash. I asked for under 5000 dollars and they treated me like I'm some sort of a criminal. I've been working in the banking industry for over 18 years and I've never felt more humiliated than I did today. It's disappointing that they get to treat their customers this way. They literally gave me over $4000 in 20's!

I made a cash deposit on a Sunday and noticed the transaction did not reflect to my account. I went inside the branch Monday morning. The teller called someone, noted my account. Didn’t give me any information regarding this incident or a timeframe. All she said was “ I don’t know” she didn’t send someone out to check the ATM. I’m just clueless

This branch was helpful. Encino & Thousand Oaks branches were closed. I had visited during normal afternoon hours. I suspect they are having some kind of internal problems to allow such seemingly random closures.

Not a bad bank but not the best either. CSR's have no authority and there is no decision made via the phone-what a waste of my time. I am tired of businesses stating that Covid has caused their crappy Customer Service hold times and waits. I was on hold for almost 35 minutes waiting for my call to be answered. This is a joke, it should be called Customer NO service.

I got a car loan from Bank of the West for the first time in June of 2016. Since my payments were set up to be deducted from my bank account directly , i never was late on any one of my payments. I decided to sell the car and paid off the remaining balance on Nov.6th to get a clear title from DMV. Bank teller told me that it takes 7-10 days for Bank of The West to send notification to DMW that account is cleared and it will take additional 2-3 days for DMV to mail me a clear title/pink slip. As of today (Nov.25th), which is 19 days after i had paid off my car loan in full, i haven't received any documents from DMV yet. I've called Bank of the West numerous times to follow up but was told "We're sorry" they haven't notified DMV yet but will expedite my case. Frankly, this was my first and last time doing business with Bank of The West. Very unprofessional online staff & supervisors. I highly recommend them changing their name to a more suitable one like "BANK of the WASTE"!

Worse bank I've ever had to deal with. I don't have an account personally but I do cash my checks from work here because this is the carrier for them. If I'm the only one it literally takes 10 plus minutes forget it other people are here expect to be here for 30+

Terrible service. Only one teller working, other tellers meandering and avoiding eye contact. When a second finally addressed all the people in line by stepping up you don't even get a hello or "Can I help you?" They literally just stare at you with a frown until you speak. Then she makes an error, sends you out of line, you call and verify there's no error and they make you wait in line again. No sorry, nothing. Just 30 minutes in a bank for one transaction and employee sighs and grimaces the whole way through. What happened to the most minimal customer service?
