This morning, my MacBook Pro screen suddenly stopped working, so I first called the Apple Store. They told me I’d need diagnostics and that it would most likely require a full screen replacement costing upwards of $600.

Before committing to that, I called You Break I Fix and spoke with William. From the very first conversation, his knowledge and honesty stood out. He explained that he could potentially find an aftermarket screen for a much lower price, but also offered to check whether an official Apple screen was available. He told me he’d call another company to confirm stock and get back to me.

True to his word, he called me back within 10 minutes and let me know they could get the Apple screen shipped within two days. He also emphasized that before doing anything, I should bring in my laptop so he could properly diagnose it to confirm whether the screen was actually the issue.

About an hour later, I went into the store and showed him my laptop. He noticed the keyboard was slightly warped but said he’d take a look. Five minutes later, he came back… and the screen was working perfectly. All he had to do was reboot the computer.

William told me everything looked fine, didn’t charge me a single dollar, and simply wished me a happy holiday.

I honestly believe that if I had gone to Apple or another repair shop, I would have been told my computer was broken and charged a ridiculous amount of money. William’s integrity and professionalism made a huge impression on me, and I’m incredibly grateful.
