Not a patron of the bank but brought in a check written from the bank was told it was policy that they don't cash checks from nonpatrons,when asked why, I was given conflicting reasons as to why they couldn't cash it and when I asked if it was a written policy they have yet to provide it in writing upon my request...it's very obvious that the reason as I stated to the Branch Manager depends on the person and it's even more obvious that I am not the right person, of course it would have been too much trouble to suggest that I might want to open an account there but that would have been too much like customer service...and it's obvious I am not the right person to be a customer of First Bank...thanks for your colorblind policy it helped me feel so welcomed in your bank.

They WERE good ONCE! now they are TERRIBLE! don't bother going in unless you want an ATM. FIRST BANK IS AWFUL. AAWWFFUULL!!

Zero stars for manager harassment. She harasses people for parking doesn't do a good job at minding her business. Jennifer makelan or whatever her name is spelled. Manager but doesn't manage her business she manages who parks where and for how long her name should be Karen. Takes pictures of everyone's car. So unprofessional

An ok bank. It is convenient, location wise and has an ATM. Hours are Monday thru Friday only. They have a few dedicated parking spaces in the lot and service is fine.

Everyone is super friendly and extremely helpful. I love how they call me by my name when I walk into the bank. They make my husband and I feel good that we have accounts there.

Fantastic Service With A Smile! I have been banking with First Bank for many years and it's always a pleasure to do business with them. All of the employees are very nice at this location / branch. I love the personal touch / service that you get here. They say hello, how are you, how are things etc.. I love that personal touch. It's always welcoming when your bank knows you by name. It's located in the center of the West San Fernando Valley and easy to get to from all directions. Safe and clean neighborhood and plenty of free parking! Easy ATM access is a plus. Give First Bank a try... Happy Banking $$$ And Have A Great Day!

I sincerely wish that the drive to this bank had been worth it. I had nothing but problems while with them and only had my bank account for about a month. They automatically closed my account when I was at a $0 balance, which I've never heard of before, and trying to get anything done over the phone with customer service was impossible. They never contacted me or let me know that they were going to close it. They just did it. It was honestly a blessing in disguise thought since I was planning on closing it anyway. Their ATM is severely outdated. We deposited a large amount of money before leaving for vacation and it wasn't in my account for a solid week. I never even got to use anything we deposited while on vacation. They recently hired one woman who is very short with people, but other than her everyone there is very welcoming and warm. The only positive I have is that they are usually able to physically help you with whatever you need in person, which most places have written off now. My biggest issue was the distance from where I lived and the challenges of not being able to reach my money when I needed it. I thought it was going to be easier since I would be able to work with people face to face instead of having so many problems over the phone, but I ended up having the same, if not worse, problems at this bank. They're extremely kind, but I could never get anything done and once I fixed one issue, another showed up. I would say if you live in the area, consider it. Otherwise, look for a bank with more locations.
