John helped me with a complicated tax situation. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and he resolved my tax issue efficiently and quickly. Arlecia the receptionist is the nicest person so kind and supportive. I highly recommend!

I posted a REAL review and this guy reverts to assuming it's because of religion rather than taking responsibility for giving terrible service and taking advantage of customers. You gave a bad service. I could care less what religion you are. That just shows how outdated, and poorly run your business is. Again, NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN, and Will never recommend anyone to come here.

DO NOT COME HERE.
If I could give zero stars I would. I regret not staying with my original CPA, but I wanted answers on how to save on certain taxes and this guy had rave reviews about being so knowledgeable, and so experienced in helping his clients.
From the moment I got into his office I felt unwelcomed. He barely said a word. I asked multiple questions in regards to saving on taxes and I got zero answers. He maybe said a few words the entire time I was there. Every question was either ignored, or got a one word response.
I called before coming in to see how much it would cost to file a simple W-2. They said it depends. After doing absolutely nothing to help me, and giving me zero financial guidance he proceeded to tell me it would be $600.00 to file a W-2. I told him I called before for this exact reason and he said my receptionist doesn't know how much that's why she didnt answer. For a company thats supposedly been in business for 20+ years that is terrible business practice.
DO NOT COME HERE. They are taking advantage of people, and rather then help his clients he would rather judge, and rush you out of the office. Waste of time and money

My family and I have been going to John for several years. He does a great job, listens, and we never feel rushed. John's professionalism and cheerful disposition is most appreciated. Unfortunately, I always stress during this time since there is so much paperwork and research that goes into this process from the client, especially when you require everything to be correct. With John I know that our taxes are done correctly. John is extremely knowledgeable and accurate! which is always a Blessing. Not to mention he also handles tax filings for Arizona. My family and I are most grateful for John!!!

John has been my go-to-person for my personal and business tax filing for years. I was recommended to John by a business contact of mine in Orange County. After speaking with John's assistant, I decided it was worth giving John a try and I drove 80 miles to see him in Los Angeles. In addition to filing my taxes, John gave me overall good advice for tax strategy. I had 4 other CPAs before John. I decided to stick with John - despite of the drive!

Wow John is fantastically awesome as an accounting professional who rates a superb 5 Stars and I'm not kidding!!! If you want all your questions asked & professionally Correct, John is your choice and he's worth every penny. Before I used John I went to another accountant elsewhere where staff made several mistakes twice! I later came to John and asked this intelligent man many important questions that no one else had been able to answer clearly for me until now. John has become a friend as well as my trusted Tax accountant.

After moving to California in 1990’s, we decided to hire someone who is professional in accounting. After talking with some accountants, we finally decided to hire john. And we are happy with the decision even after all these years. John is still handling all are issues related to accounts. He has become a friend of us. He is really professional and friendly. I became a client of John Wurts Financial in 2003. John is a great man, who looks out for his clients. The team at Wurts Financial is very responsive. In addition to being a great tax and accounting firm, these are great people, with a great family. John and his wife Beverly care deeply for each client and always put your interests first. John Wurts was a pleasure to work with. He answered all my questions regarding my parents situation after the sale of their house. He was very knowledgeable and got my parents tax return completed in a timely manner. Due to Covid, all I did was scan and email all the necessary documents and within a week, their return was complete. I highly recommend John Wurts Financial Services. This business was personable yet very professional at the same time.

This is my Second year getting my taxes done with John. This year was a bit different due to covid we did everything online, and it was great because it works with my busy schedule. The online process was also very fast and i was able to get my tax returns a couple of weeks after. I would really recommend his services and he is also very personable and he definitely knows what he is doing.

John Wurts has been doing our taxes for three years now. I am a middle-class African American woman. I mentioned that because being middle class the places where I previously got our taxes done worked with high net worth individuals and I got lost. My calls were sometimes not returned, and I got past off to whoever the new person was. That hasn't happened with John. John Wurst has saved us so much money on our taxes and saved us from heavy fines with our corporation for not being in compliance. He treats us with the highest level of kindness and respect. I can't say enough about the service he provides. No matter how complicated my tax situation is he gets the job done! I refer my friends and family to John Wurst.

John Wurts is a competent professional - he is knowledgeable in his field, communicative, and makes things clear enough for me to understand. John has filed my somewhat complicated returns, and has corrected past returns that were done incorrectly by someone else allowing me to collect much more in returns than I otherwise would have.

Wow. John is amazing. I was previously doing my own taxes through TurboTax then I became self-employed. According to TurboTax, self-employment meant I made negative money for the year! John took me into his metaphorical accounting arms and was amazing. He is incredibly friendly, so he made discussing finances and taxes easy. John was not only incredibly thorough, he was unbelievably knowledgeable in tax laws. I'm so grateful he was recommended to me from a colleague, I even gave his contact to my sister in northern California and she is now using John too! Along with taxes, he has helped us understand LLC and S-Corp engagement. John, thank you!
