A great spot for Indian chaat and sweets tucked into the corner of a market -- it's a very no-nonsense spot that's open 24/7. The line moves pretty quickly and it's always pretty busy, but you can sip on some (free) chai while you wait. The portions are large and great to share -- we got a Dahi Papdi and Samosa Chaat, as well as the Ras Malai and Gulab Jamun cakes. Everything was SO. YUMMY. and we especially loved the cakes, which were so unique and eggless, too. They also have a Pani Puri stand outside with five different flavors of water! I appreciate that they have tables outside, but my one issue is that it gets fairly cold in the evening -- it would be great to have a heat lamp or two, but otherwise loved the food. I'll be back!

Apna Bazar offers complimentary tea, but the experience has been marred by constantly changing rules. I observed the owner shouting at a customer walking with the tea in-store and an employee scolding someone using a reusable mug (despite eco-conscious efforts). Placing tea cups on the counter is banned now. When there's no cup holder, reusable sealed cups are refused, and in-store consumption is prohibited. These rigid rules are impractical and frustrating. While offering free tea is their choice, it shouldn't justify mistreating customers. I've witnessed this behavior multiple times and experienced it myself. If free tea causes problems, it's better to stop serving it!"

I was craving some chaat and vada pav late at night, and this place showed up while I was searching for Indian food online. I never knew this place existed and that it's open 24/7. Although reviews were mixed, we still decided to give it a try. The food counter was pretty crowded even at 10.30 p.m. on a weekday night; however, the line moved quickly. We got samosa chaat and vada pav. The free tea while waiting was a nice touch. Our food was ready in about 15 minutes. Portions were quite large, and the food was good. The price is reasonable compared to other Indian eateries in the neighborhood.

This review is only for the Pani Puri stall outside Apna Bazaar. There is always a long line, but worth it. They have five different flavors of water, I recommend trying them all. The service is very no nonsense and you should know what you want after waiting in line. It's about $6 for 6, which is not too bad of a price.

Bad food and worse service. Guy over there is super rude. I believe bad employees like him make people never go back to this store. I tried calling management with no luck. Typical bad attitude. They dont care about customers.

Best Customer Service! They are super nice. They help you well, and their prices are better than others. I always find what I need, and they sell Halal Zabiha Fresh Meat too. It's easy for us to shop here in Woodland.

Customer service sucks! This is probably the worst Indian grocery store when it comes to service. I started coming here recently because it's open 24 hours and I like the chai and it's free. It seemed like a nice hangout spot and sort of reminds me of my Bangalore days, late night chais, midnight snacks and conversations. So had this home away from home feeling. But tonight I had it. Checkers are just not nice, the guy in yellow tshirt was on the phone and normally I don't care if checkers don't bag. I usually bags them myself or I'm usually using a self checkout at Wholefoods or so. It just seemed like he didn't care and probably profiled me. But I see more Reviews about poor customer service. So I guess this is how they operate. I guess they don't care because they have enough and more foot traffic. Also the tea is in plastic cans, so probably best to stay away anyway.

Very bad customer service, the lady at the store was very rude to my mom, like they need to respect their customers.

I ordered 3 Amritsari Kulche and Aloo tiki. I drove there about 20 miles from my home and it's was to go and when I reached home and opened the package, there was only 1 Kulcha. So disappointed with the service.

I've only been here to buy the prepared food. It's a pretty lively spot where people hang out, especially late night on Fridays and weekends. The two item combo is a steal for $10. My favorites to order are the chana masala and butter paneer. The eggplant is also good. Hands down, the best thing to get is the samosa. They are huge, intensely spiced, and super inexpensive. It's better than most restaurants I've been to.

Right place to shop for Indian groceries & fresh vegetables. I personally like the cashier, Kavitha for her warm welcoming & friendly demeanor. Free tasty chai is another nice bonus here :)
