Very good museums with a lots of tractors and agricultural heavy equipment back in 1920s. They have a nice kid play area, scavenger games which offer stickers, exploring different areas. The most impressive thing for us to this museum is the volunteering staff who can offer free guided tour, our volunteer, named Lee was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job, who didn’t mind spending long time to talk with our kids on history of caterpillar companies and their innovation. This museum is worth a visit if you pass Woodland on I-5 north of Sacramento.

We visited the California Agriculture Museum in Woodland on a rainy weekend day. I saw many reviewers mention there are a lot of tractors, and that's an accurate description of what you'll find in this museum. There are rows of tractors from across the years in various sizes. It was nice that they had a kids area along with a long table set up for coloring. There is also a very small gift shop. Overall, a nice visit. The staff was friendly as well.

I wanted to spend the day local in Yolo County, so decided it was a good opportunity to visit the California Agricultural Museum. This museum will appeal the most to people who work in the agricultural industry or who grew up or currently live on a farm. The highlights of the museum include agricultural equipment used in the early to mid 1900's. I don't have a particular interest in any of this, but wanted to do something local in my area that was new to me. I did notice that it is kid friendly and the kids are having a good time riding around on the tractors. I was thinking that my three year old niece would probably have a good time riding on the toy tractors if she was here with me.Overall, it's worth checking out once if you live in the area or are visiting and looking for something to do.

Awesome collection of tractors and items that show the history of farming here in California. Very well preserved history of the various models and types of machinery used. Love the displays and information provided about the various tractors and where they came from etc. There are lots of options for discounts on admission like AAA and veterans and student. Come check em out.

This is a great museum. It was really interesting seeing so many old farm machines. Great place for kids. Our two boys really had a good time.

I liked this museum. It was interesting to see some of the old agriculture methods. I was surprised at the sizes of some of these vehicles. It was a pretty basic layout, just a lot of tractors in a few rows. It was very quiet when we were there, which I liked, only a few people were there. This museum has a kids area, and scavenger hunt. So if you have kids, and are interested in checking this museum out, then I recommend it.Overall, I liked this museum, I definitely learned a few things. I recommend coming here. It wasn't my favorite museum experience ever, but it was in no way a bad experience.(Also, you are able to have a guided tour, with a docent. We didn't have the guided tour because it wasn't available at the time. If I come back here, and take the guided tour, I will update my review with that information.)

If you like tractors, come here! Tons of tractors!! All shapes and sizes. Very historic. I've been wanting to come here for years... Finally had a chance today. $10 admission, but had reciprocity through another membership in NARM. Free. Yeah! Lots of tractors! Wish there was an interactive feature if you were a child in 1900, what your day would look like, interactive things of interest. Lots of tractors. Since I'm not really into tractors, we walked through in about 10 minutes. Well kept tractors, big tractors, small tractors.... Wish it showed how tractors changed through the years, or something interesting to those not really into tractors. I do respect tractors as helping us get our food. Three cheers for tractors and farmers and the role they play in our daily lives! Maybe highlighting families in agriculture... something to catch the interest of non- tractor people. Thanks for preserving history and a piece of the past.

More than 100 hundred years ago, America already has those heavy machines to help farmers to harm large acres land easier. Amazing!
