Drive up ATM didn't work
-
April 2023 by Madison P.
ATM EATS MONEY. Drive-thru atm doesn't accept cash deposits again. I use the atm inside and as soon as it takes my money, it conveniently decides to restart and have a software update. No receipt was printed out and my money wasn't returned. The number the staff gave me for customer support gives a ton of options except for talking with an operator so I have to go back inside so they can give me additional information. A few minute process is now almost half an hour of my time as I'm still waiting to speak to customer service on the phone to make a claim. All I got from staff was a number to fix an issue within the bank that apparently "happens all the time." A software update shouldn't happen during a transaction or anytime while the machine is being used for this very reason. Shouldn't a bank have the technology where this situation doesn't happen? Perhaps they should be manually updated, or perhaps it's time I switch banks.

They told us they had no ink to print checks. We had an appointment to cash out and were forced to physically carry thousands of dollars with us because of this banks unprofessionalism and unpreparedness. Tellers were unsympathetic and just generally a terrible experience. Why go to a bank that can't handle money? Isn't that the point of banks?

Everyone is great this branch except for one person. This review reflects her terrible customer service/experience. I called into the branch to have Marci call me back. As she wasn't available. Kaley answered the phone. She took my name and number. Then, she proceeded to drill me about the nature of the call. I would not have had a problem answering her questions but I was uncomfortable with her tone and attitude when she was asking the questions. She ended up hanging up on me cause I didn't answer her questions to her satisfaction. All I wanted was a call back from Marci. I complained to Marci and another teller who said they would let Andrew the manager know. This was about 3 weeks or so ago. As of today, no apology from Kaley or manager. Very unprofessional and I won't be going into this branch anymore because of how I was treated by this young woman.

Went in to get a new account open....didn't even make it in before harassed by private security threatening to call the woodland police department on us. We were trying to read sign but couldn't because the little security scumbag was interrupting our conversation & train of thought! I was ready to call police on him, we thought he was just a crazy person. Bank employees reassured us he's the private security. Needless to say I will be starting account with Davis branch & never coming here again.

I love the vibes of this bank, the energy is so awesome and the customer service is excellent. Every time I go in, Tarek the manager and the other tellers are always are so vibrant and pleasant to interact with. This chase is my favorite bank!

Throughout my banking experience with chase, going in and out of the same bank talking with different bank tellers, this branch is the best by far. I've been with chase for several years, and the customer service one gets here is amazing and you can tell that the bankers/tellers truly care about their customers. They take the time to listen and ask you about your day. Unlike other banks I have been to, where I just feel they are reading a script just to get you in and out. Here, they address you by your name as soon as you walk in, and take their time to know you as an individual and not just another account number. Overall, I've had a great experience banking with this specific branch.

I've been banking with Chase/wamu for a very long time. I have had so many great experiences so this recent one caught me off guard. Went in to have a follow up appt with Mariam (fantastically wonderful) but she was on her lunch. Someone named TEREK (I believe) came to greet us and said we'd have to wait for her until she came back. He's the branch manager mind you. I had plans to open some type of IRA and was still trying to figure out which made most sense for my situation. I would have told him that if he gave me the opportunity. He basically just started to talk at me and give me instructions/guidance on what to do with my situation even though he never really asked what my situation was. How do you help someone when you don't ask questions? He was very confrontational and he kept saying things like "Do you even know the difference between those?", "it's common sense", etc. etc. I previously met with Robert (financial advisor) as well and he gave me amazing advice and was extremely helpful, which is why I kept going back to Chase. Now I know that if I have a question about finances that I will 100% not go in there. I had someone with me as well and she was more angry than I was about the whole fiasco. She literally had to go for a cool down walk after because of his attitude and undermining behavior. I would give 1 star if I didn't have so many years of excellent service with them. Advice to TEREK: Learn to listen more, ask questions and not treat your customers like they're incompetent.

I was almost a victim of bank fraud but thanks to their great security and helpful staff I have great confidence in this branch.

There's a new manager named Teryk and I must say he totally ruined the wonderful environment in this location. Every time I go in he's arguing with one of his employees right in front of customers. VERY UNPROFSSIONAL. He rudely interrupts conversations to try to "make a sale" he also makes people use ATM'S when they don't want to and tries to make them feel stupid for not using it. I go in almost everyday because I'm a business owner and I'm very close to all the girls who work there. I must say its a great team and the girls are wonderful! I can tell how unhappy everyone is with this new manager. I cant stand going in when he is there. He's very rude and unprofessional. If chase is hiring these types of managers I'd prefer not keeping my business there anymore. Very disappointed.

I went in to the bank the other day and this was the second time I came in contact with the manager. He was rude and made me feel uncomfortable I went in to take out money and he rudely asked why I was there! I told him I was there to get cash out and he said why don't you use the atm. I do not feel comfortable using the atm I told him and he rolled his eyes at me. While I was waiting he was talking to one of his employees but talking loudly that she was doing something wrong. Very unprofessional I plan on going to the bank on Gibson from now on.

Really helpful nice staff. Eia the mgr is terrific. I go out of my way to use this chase branch because the staff is so good. Doesn't feel like a big bank at all, yet they can handle all my business and personal banking and they make it all seem easy. I suppose when the new State Theater complex opens up next door it will get very busy, but right now there us never a wait.
