A clean room at a good price for the area. Staff was polite and quick, even though I checked in in the middle of the night. The beds were loud if you toss and turn at night.

I ended up getting stranded here on Woodland when my car radiator blew up. The mechanics took 3 days to fix it. And I’m super happy I ended up here. The lady in front was very attentive and informative. Simple and no hassle payments. I walked into a clean room with a clean folded bed. Amazing WiFi, decent TV channels on the TV. And a clean pool.
Now anytime I ever travel between Oregon and Southern California. This is the perfect middle ground. This is now a safe place for me to use and I am now recommending to friends and family

I have stayed here 2 times and both times the staff was very unpleasant. The owners were arguing infront of me in there , and not speaking English. The women was avid about not being able to transfer my deposit because i booked online...(basically trying to turn me away for what seemed to be laziness???) and not trying to help me and then her husband shushed her. Hoped on the computer and typed in something and I had the key in my hand in a sec. Although he was very helpful, I still can't shake that unpleasent woman who is always at the front desk i mean, who buys a hotel if they hate helping people... so much for hospitality or customer service... I guess it's my fault that she was forced to interact with people on this particular day.
All in all.. the rooms were ok, the area ok. And the service not good. I would have left but I booked online and would have lost what I had already paid.

I've stayed here many times since 2017 as it's a good location for accessing Sacramento, Woodland, and Davis. Rates are usually a good value compared to other properties. This is an older property, probably built originally in the '70s or thereabouts, but the owners do a good job of keeping the property maintained, both inside and out. It isn't the Ritz Carlton -- it's a budget motel where you get what you pay for. Staff are terrific and very responsive. Rooms come equipped with mini-fridge and microwave. Ice machine and soda vending are on property. Several accessible rooms for the disabled. They have a seasonal pool that I have never used. It's small but looks nice, and has a chair lift for those with mobility issues. Coffee is available in the lobby. There are markets, restaurants, drug stores, and other services in the immediate vicinity. Some past reviews have noted sketchy people about, which was more an issue during the pandemic, I think, and not so much in 2024/2025.

I had a wonderful experience at this motel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure every need was met. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, from the cozy bedding to the amenities provided. The location was convenient and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for great value and comfort. Will definitely stay here again!”

I recently stayed at EconoLodgep of woodland and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you would expect. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and TV. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate any requests, providing excellent customer service throughout my stay.

DO NO BOTHER BOOKING A SAY HERE AND DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POSITIVE REVIEWS THAT WERE MOST LIKELY PAID FOR. I had a room booked here for MONTHS, the day that I travel up for my event they call ONE TIME because I needed to replace my card on file. I was driving when they called, didn’t get their message due to bad service until 30 minutes later and THEY CANCEL MY ROOM! AFTER ONLY ONE PHONE CALL! The receptionist, if you can even call her that since she sounds likes she’s answering the phone from her living room and not the actual hotel, was idiotic and completely unhelpful and refused to transfer me to a manager. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT STAY HERE! I would give this place ZERO STARS if I could!

Friendly staff, adequate rooms, sparkling pool. Not what I'd call a great place to stay while on vacation,but for the price, it's a good deal. Even has an iron and ironing board.

I needed a place to stay when I landed late in Sacramento just to sleep before the rest of my trip. Econo Lodge was 20 minutes from the airport near the 5 and the cheapest option (excluding other places that had way worse reviews). I was pleasantly surprised!
I didn’t expect much. But when I arrived and rang the lobby doorbell at 11:30pm the nice boy working (who was way too cheerful for his graveyard shift lol) let me in and upgraded me to a king bed for free! And gave me the closest room. He was very friendly and quick.
The room was you know, the usual—a little grimy, with chipped door frames and blah decor. But the sheets were clean, the bathroom was extremely clean and possibly recently renovated. The TV remote felt brand new and if you know you know, usually motel TVs are so slow to respond to channel changes. Not this TV 🤩 water pressure was good! Air conditioning was strong. The only con I would say is the bathroom fan. It comes on with the light and you can’t turn it off even though it’s noisy.
I slept like a rock—no noises from neighbors or the street. Very happy with my one night stay!

Pretty basic motel...I was honestly expecting slightly more polished given its price. Obvious wear and tear in bathroom and soft mattress, but overall was clean. AC was loud but effective and glad for fridge and microwave. Parking lot confusing.
