Sonia and her team reached out to the artist and helped us commission a work similar to what I'd seen in the old painting. Sonia did so much work guiding us through the commissioning process, connecting with the artist, making a plan that we were all happy with, and going back and forth throughout to update us and finally having it shipped to California safely. We picked it up in her gallery last week and it is stunning and better than we could have imagined. She was so welcoming to our kids and we got to see so much beautiful art (are tempted to buy another piece!). The collection of contemporary Indian art is so well curated and so unique, it is a real treasure to have this in the USA! If you are considering it, I'd recommend Laasya all the way!”

“Great Art Center in the city of Palo Alto, CA. Came here for a free family event night. A lot of fun activities for kids such as clay sculpting, coloring, origami, and art viewing. There was also a dance performance towards the end. It is located in a nice area near the local library, park, and community garden. They offer various classes for all ages on all forms of art. Wonderful event space and art education.”

“Resident artist program located northwest of Woodside in a remote section of the Santa Cruz mountains is certainly worth the drive to check out. Docent lead tours take place every Sunday and are available by reservation at the website. The dose that we talk about the history of the place and there's a lot of history going back to the days of the Indians and the dose that will take you on a 3 mi hike to enjoy some of the amazing structures produced by the artist who are in residence for one month. Flora and fauna are also discussed. If you have a large group of friends you can make arrangements for a private tour at another time of the week.
