My only complaint with Ferrellgas is the fact that they \\\"charge\\\" your debit card for the estimated amount of the fill and then any monies above the actual cost is kept as a credit. This makes it difficult for low income and middle income families to survive when money is held \\\"hostage\\\" by the LP company.

Leaving a review on behalf of a friend without an account. She had to make FOUR separate requests to fill her empty propane tank. Twice she had to go into their office. The second time she had to tell the secretary to request she call the delivery guy by name to get her tank filled. Billing is a joke also. They also require you to MAIL any changes in your account to Missouri, such as expiration dates on your card in your account. If you call their Roosevelt office, you are transfered to people in Denver. Go to R\\u0026R for propane (I use them and they are great). They will actually fill your tank when you ask them to, and will not transfer you to people in another state to help you. She is going to make the switch when her tank is empty. Don't waste your time with Ferrellgas. It will just make you angry.

While in an emergency situation and out of propane, it not only took over 3 hours just to get through to someone, but they couldn't even guarantee delivery knowing it was -20° out and I have small children. They over price their LP and treat you as a number rather than a human. I've been their customer for some time now and was absolutely disgusted with the service in such a time.

I work as the caretaker for a cabin in the winter and our gas is provided by Ferrellgas. Whenever ny boss, his assistant, or I make an appointment to have the tank filled, the driver or dispatcher without fail, cancels the appointment. They won't deliver if our driveway has even a breath of snow on it, which would be fine if we weren't directly across from a ski resort on a mountain, so it snows quite a bit. In the last 18 months we have had to reschedule at least 5 propane deliveries because they refuse to actually deliver unless we call multiple times. I thought that I had figured out a solution to the issue last week when I asked them to call me if they weren't going to show up. But no one called. It is Tuesday now and they're saying they can come tomorrow... which would be fine if the snow wasn't starting tonight at 8 tonight. We are expecting a foot and a half of snow. :/
