The Shell gas station reviewed has a convenience store, but it is not described as great. The restrooms could use some cleaning and graffiti removal, and the store space is smaller than expected, not particularly organized or clean. The employee working the counter was not very welcoming. However, the station has the potential to improve, as it has a captive audience from the Tesla vehicles charging at the adjacent charging stations, especially when the nearby restaurant is closed. Improvements such as cleaning up the store, adding outdoor seating, and offering quick food options could boost sales revenue. Despite the mixed reviews of the convenience store, the Shell station has been praised for its helpful employees. One customer, Ben, went out of his way to assist them with a vehicle breakdown, contacting a mechanic who fixed the vehicle in the parking lot. Another customer, Evelyn, was praised for her care and attention during a heatwave, providing ice and time for the customer to cool off before continuing their journey on a motorcycle.
